I have to say that I have pretty much just been a lurker here but this site and these forums have been so helpful its unreal. Thanks to everyone who takes the time to post and share their knowledge, I couldn't have made it this far without you!

I really dont want to complain or be too worried because I know so many people have had to wait longer than me, but I guess I'm wondering when to start worrying. I got my NOA2 by snail mail with a Notice Date of November 1, 2006. I called the NVC today and they said they don't have it in their computer yet. The guy on the phone said it can take up to 90 days for the paperwork to get to the NVC and if it takes past 90 it might never get there. Is he just trying to freak me out? I know i'm still within the 4 week mark it says in the notice, so i guess I should just calm down. Sorry, I guess i just had to worry out loud a little bit.

Thanks again and good luck to everyone waiting!

Mary

I suggest you send an email to NVC...

for info/suggestions on how: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;#entry565944

I think you guys will fall with the next batch that gets sent to the NVC. I received my snail mail NOA2 on the 28th of October. I called NVC every 2 days and emailed every week. I called on the 13th to hear it still wasn't received. Then on the 14th I received the reply with a case number to my second email (sent on the 8th) that stated my case was received.

I suggest BOTH calling and emailing. Give them about a week to give you a response to your email. I think they wait a few days to see if anything turned up before responding.

I emailed them immediately after receiving the response, asking if my case was sent to the london consulate. I received a reply today saying that it was (although I had already confirmed it on via a phone call last week).

Good Luck! :)

i hope this isn't confusing... i'm not feeling well today

Your profile dose not indicate which service center you are using so I will assume CSC.

CSC holds the petitions and sends them in a truck-load every week or so to NVC. so the time is 2-4 weeks from NOA2 at CSC to NVC.

Look at the K-1 Flow chart.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...amp;page=k1flow

And also the time lines, the timelines are very useful for getting a feel for times, that is why everyone is encouraged to do one, it helps the others.

K-1 advance view, and filter for your service center.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Thankyou!! It's so funny how being in the same boat as other people makes you feel better. I'll try emailing and calling. At least then I feel like I'm doing something whether it helps or not.

Thanks again, you guys are great.

Mary.
