Hello guys! I am living away from my parents and we don't really communicate that much and some people said that you can just have your legal guardian sign the parental advice so I am considering of doing that. Is that alright? Another question is that how can you consider someone your legal guardian? Can I have my friend sign it for me? Thanks.

I dont know how to answer this question except for the part about the legal guardian. A friend can not sign as your legal guardian unless they actually are your legal guardian on the legal document signed by the Judge. Guardianship is a legally binding document appointing a competant adult over the age of 18 to be financially and legally responsible for all decisions including medical, for a minor or impaired person. who ever is listed as your legal guardian on such documents would ned to sign (if required) Any other persons trying to impersonate your legal guardian would be committing fraud and if your aware of such activity you would also be committing fraud. Just outta curiosity, why do u need the signature of a legal guardian for a fiancee visa? Have i missed something? we applied for a K-1 the i-129f and i was unaware of this requirement... neither of us have to have a parents or guardians signature for anything... what is this requirement for? sorry im ignorant on this topic lol i only just applied in March.....

sis, question, who will sign ur parental advice?

for some beneficiaries, CFO did not ask for their parental advice

but, for some beneficiaries too, CFO asked for their parental advice

some beneficiaries advice were not notarized

but some were notarized

so we don't really know what CFO prefers by the time that you are there.

sis, we don't have noa2 yet.but that's what we are going to do for CFO.. cause you know, what one's exp with CFO might not be the same to us.. so it is still better to get ready incase they demand of something.. i have a feeling that if they would ask for something and you don't have, they might use that as an excuse to hold your certificate or sticker..i guess im just being paranoid, but i can't afford to have delays because of them.lol. and based on the reviews i have been reading, it happened to the previous applicants.. say they don't have the pictures, or advice or consent, the CFO used it as a reason to hold their sticker and/or cert until they return back with those reqs. they are asking. so better to be ready than give them chances to give us more stress and delays. biggrin.png
