Hello everyone!! does anyone have an experience or knowledge if a non-US resident (foreign) wife can order her deceased husbands (US citizen) Income Tax Statements or his Social Security Earnings Statements from year 2000-2006?? i have his SSN #. will this be possible? Thanks much in advance for your help.

If your name is not on the file you are not entitled to a copy. So sorry..... There may be an exception for a deceased spouse if you can provide proof you were married during the time of which you are requesting copies for, and can provide the death certificate with good cause as to why you need the copies. However if you were not married in 2000-2006 ( the time frame you are requestions doc. from) you absolutly can not get those copies, again, unless you were a dependant and or filed jointly and your name appears on the returns.
