hello fellow vjs. i got my mnl number this monday from nvc, however the case is not yet sent to usem. some of the post advices that i can go ahead and set the appointment for interview. so very excited, i went to bpi in the morning to pay the k1 visa fee, and called usem this evening to schedule my interview. i talked to a rep asking if i already receive a letter from the embassy. i told her that i can only provide my case number because when i call the nvc they said that they still have the case and will be sent in afea days or weeks. she said that it is my own risk if i schedule a date and the papers are not yet in the embassy.

any advice about this? should i just wait until our papers reach usem? or go ahead and take an interview date even if the case is still in nvc?

thank you so much.
