I'm sorry it cost you 2 months, but I'm really glad they found your case! Here's to hoping everything will go smoothly after this! smile.png

I really cannot understand why people at USCIS "accidentally" send out approved petitions to NRC. They clearly are unorganized and this inefficiency is costing us valuable time and a whole lotta stress. I've read (at least on these forums) that there have been quite a number of cases like mine that were sent to NRC. sad.png

I'm sorry that this happened to you too, but do everything you can till you get a hold of your case. Like what emma1990 said, call your representative. Call USCIS and NVC. Email NVCResearch. Exhaust all possibilities.

Hang in there!

I got this notification few hours ago. "On May 28, 2013, your address was changed relating to the I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) that you filed." DId you get this notification anytime when USCIS found out that your case was sent to NRC instead of NVC?

I actually never got the hold of Maria. But my hubby is planning on calling them tonight to expedite the process. We called a night supervisor last week and she said that they will avoid 10-20 business days wait once they receive the case, in order to make up for the days it was lost. I am not so sure if it was Maria, but she wasn't that much of a help. If it is sent to NRC, there is nothing anybody could do from my experience. But continue to call NVC and USCIS daily. Get the congressperson involved too. I don't know if calling them and getting the congresswoman really helped me, but 2 months is the maximum wait for the cases that get sent to NRC mistakenly.

This has really got me worried as my status is now showing Initial Review as oppose to Post Decision Activity. :-(

I've been waiting for 18 months for Australia to grant my temporary residence, and in their system there is no way to track or monitor anything, so it could be worse. Now, I'm just giving up and bringing her and our baby to America. Hopefully we'll have better luck going down under to up over, than we've had the other way.

Nope, we didn't get that. That seems peculiar. Your petition was already approved, right? Do you have NOA2 already?
