My wife just got interviewed in Guang Zhou but require a police certificate from Colombia because she stayed there for 4 years but how can I get one? The guy that interviewed her gave a website but we don't know Spanish. http://www.policia.gov.co any help would appreciate it. Thanks!

May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

ya that's where I got it. Thanks! The result page didn't have her name only her number. She had a cedula de extranjeria temporal. I printed the page to pdf and scanned her ID with it. Hope everything goes well soon!

the consulate refused the one I got online and gave me another letter saying "We need an original or notarized copy of a Colombian police report covering your time in Colombia, with a certified translation." anyone know how I can get that if I'm not in colombia? thanks in advance

I just asked my brother, who is a lawyer here in Colombia and He told me that the online one is the official one, there's no other way to obtain a police certificade in Colombia. maybe you can contact someone at the Colombia embassy where you guys are for help. :(

etin - i say in my bullish opinion -

YOU get into GUZ on an ACS appointment, nowish/soonish. Talk with a Vice Consul there about the casefile, and bring printed instructions on how to create the PCC , exactly the steps you did to create that document. Tell the Vice Consul that this is how PCCs are generated for Columbia, and invite him to go through the steps and create one for your wife on his computer using his printer.

Then let us know the results, aye?

Just one thing, it's ColOmbia, not Columbia, I'm sorry, but this is touchy subject for all Colombians LOL.
