Delhi Packet 3

Can someone please help. My fiancee just received her packet 3 from the Delhi embassy and I have some questions about it. First, it is extemely vague with the instructions. There is no visa interview or medical interview dates. I am assuming that will be in Packet in 4. Is this correct ? Second, the packet instructs her to collect all the required documents to me mailed in. There is no mailing address or date as to when they are to be submitted. Will these instrauctions also be packet 4. From the Delhi web site, it says to submit these documents at the VFS office in Chandigarh between 10 and 15 days of the interview date. Is this correct since she is in Chandigarh. Thanks everyone.

Packet 3 does not have interview or medical dates information. This will be generated with packet 4. (The earlier you send packet 3 back, the earlier you get packet 4)

As per instructions in packet 3, you just have to collect these documents and have them prepared. Do not send them in anywhere untill you receive packet 4.

According to new rules, you will have to go submit these documents at the Chdgr VFS office 10-15 days prior to the interview and you should be all set. Be very sure to keep and carry with you all these documents at the interview as well.

Thanks Sachin for the quick reply. I am unclear about what you said about packet 4 being sent after packet 3. If I can't send packet 3 until I receive packet 4, then why do I have to send packet 3 in as soon as possible so that I will receive packet 4. Sorry if I am missing what you are saying. Are you saying that packet 4 will come only after packet 3 is mailed in ? Btw, all I had in packet 3 is the DS230 part 1 and instructions to collect all relevant documents. Thanks.

You need to send back DS230 and the statement that you have all the required documents ready - that would be the "Applicant Statement" on page 2. They will mail you packet 4 with interview date and instructions for medical after they receive these back from you.

Regarding your other question, you are now required to submit documents to the VFS office. That wasn't the case when my wife had her K3 interview in April.
