What month of the year did you marry in?

There's a rhyme from popular folklore that believes your marriage will take on certain characteristics depending upon the month you chose.

January - Marry when the year is new, he'll be loving, kind and true.

February - When February birds do mate, you wed nor dread your fate.

March - If you wed when March winds blow, joy and sorrow both you'll know.

April- Marry in April if you can, joy for maiden and for man.

May - Marry in the month of May, you will romance the day.

June - Marry when June roses grow and over land and sea you'll go.

July - Those who in July do wed must labour for their daily bread.

August - Whoever wed in August be, many a change is sure to see.

September - Marry in September's shine so that your life is rich and fine.

October - If in October you do marry, love will come but riches tarry.

November - If you wed in bleak November, only joys will come, remember!

December - When December's snows fall fast, marry and your love will last.

I had always wanted to get married in May but my hubby and I wanted to get married as soon as possible so we could start the immigration process so we got married in March.....

Well , don't believe everything ya read cuz my first marriage was in may and I had 16 yrs of Hell.

I married in August this time.

April 28th INTERVIEW DATE !!!!!!!! APPROVED

June 30th Arrived in my Sweeties Arms !!

August 4th.2005 Our Wedding

Sept. 19th Sent AOS

Sept 28th recieved NOA for AOS

Nov.05/05 recieved Biometrics letter

Nov.17th Biometrics Appt.

Nov. 22nd. AP Approved

Nov. 25th/05 recieved EAD card

Nov.30th. recieved AP Papers in mail

Dec. 08th/05 Recieved Snail mail letter for AOS Interview Feb 15th 7:40 AM.

Feb. 15th. /06 AOS Interview SUCCESS !!!! no more to deal with for another 2 yrs!

Feb. 27th./06 Recieved Greencard in the mail

August 4th/06 Our First Wedding Anniversary !!

Feb. 8th 08 Sent in Packet to remove conditions

Feb 23rd 08 Recieve NOA letter stating they are extending my Greencard for another year.

March 11th 08 biometrics appt.

May 29th 08 recieved email stating Card production ordered

June 7th 2008 10 yr card recieved.

We had our first exchange of vows in front of a magistrate in:

February - When February birds do mate, you wed nor dread your fate

(Not sure if I understand that one.)

Then, we had our renewal of vows in our church in:

July - Those who in July do wed must labour for their daily bread

08/17/08: Mailed N400 to TSC

08/19/08: USPS attempted delivery

08/20/08: TSC received N400

08/21/08: TSC cashed check

09/02/08: Received NOA...........Priority date: 08/20/08

09/18/08: Biometrics completed - Charlotte DO

10/24/08: Received Interview Letter

12/08/08: Interview @ 1:00pm. APPROVED!

01/05/09: Oath Ceremony 10:00AM. Now officially a USC!!!

Mar to Apr 2005 - Talked about finally giving in to our feelings and getting married

Aug 1 to Aug 7, 2005 - Fifth US Visit - Engaged

Dec 20, 2005 - NOA1 Notice Date

Dec 27, 2005 - NOA1 Rcv'd in Mail

Mar 10, 2006 - NOA2 Approved

Mar 23, 2006 - NVC Received Packet

Mar 24, 2006 - Case Forwarded to London Embassy

Apr 7, 2006 - Recieved Packet 3

May 11, 2006 - Packet 3 Sent Back
