I've downloaded the fiancè letter of intent to marry but we're a bit puzzled about the [PETITIONER’S OR BENEFICIARY’S NAME] and [PETITIONER’S OR BENEFICIARY’S ADDRESS]. Does that apply when applying for a K1 visa too? Do we need a copy each with our addresses?

Also, when we have to attach an additional sheet to describe how we met and whatnot, would it be ok to make a timeline with dates, such as:

2005 - started talking online

2010 - met for the firs time from (date) to (date)
2011 - met in from (date) to (date)

and so on...?

Yes, each of you writes a letter of intent to marry and signes it. We respected rules of proper correspondence and put our names and addresses.

As to the timeline, I don't see why it would be bad. We simply wrote 4-5 sentences giving facts and dates of our meetings.

Good luck to you!

You each need a letter. On the letter you put your permanent address. We didn't have to attach any other information except for in the proof a relationship section. the letter should only say that you intend to marry each other, and that it'll be done within the 90 days given by the USCIS. Other stuff should be put in the proof of relationship section where you can put whatever you need to prove that you've met and been in a relationship with in the last 2 years. Good luck!

Thank you! I thought they needed like some sort of long description as to how we met and all...

They ask for the description of how you met on the 129F form. So you can explain it there. You can write none on the G325 if there has been no address outside of the US for the USC. and you can write the 129-F in the other section on both forms. Best of luck!

Also, regarding form G325A, when filed by the US citizen is it ok to write 'none' at applicant's last address outside the US for more than 1 year?

You can put none or maybe even better N/A.

What about the 'this form is submitted with an application for'? Do we write I-129F in both?

Yes.

Yes and Yes. For the how we met part on the I-129F form, keep it to date, time and place which should be supported by the documents you submit with the petition. All you have to do is satisfy the requirement of having met in the past two years. State that very succinctly. You can add the time line as proof of bonafide ongoing relationship.

Good luck,

Dave

''this form is submitted in connection with an application for'?'' YES to both (petitioner and beneficiary) right?

yes that's correct. I check marked where it says other (specify) and put 129-F. If they give 129-F as an option than select that. This is the case for both the petitioner and beneficiary G325 forms.
