A doubt regarding the form i-864 Part 6

My wife is filling the form i-864 and we have a doubt regarding Part 6.

In the instructions, it says:

Take your annual individual income from item number 5 and enter it on item number 6.c.

the part 6 is for persons in the household. My wife is the USC sponsoring me (and only me) and is above the 125% poverty guideline.

Should we write her name as person 1 in the household or is it for people OTHER than her.

I tend to think that the answer is no, but I would appreciated confirmation from you, since the instructions can be confusing sometimes..

Thanks.

I had the same issue.

It seems pretty clear that this is a mistake in the instructions. In the total Income field it says to add up all the fields including 5 and 6a....... If you would follow the instructions you would end up reporting double your income :-)

clearly a mistake just leave #6 blank (or write 0)

Or is the sponsor actually "person 1"? and therefore you would need to put your own income on 6c (per the instructions for form I-864), then total all sponsors (persons 1 through 4) in #10?
