Question, what does the medical exam entail especially, with the physical? How detailed is the exam?

Anyone who has experienced, please provide some insight.....Thank you.

After registration, they do general stuff: BP, vision testing etc.then from my husband narration he stated as soon as he was called into the room, the Dr ( a female) asked him to take down his pants to bare skin and then pull them back up(no physical contact). LOL he felt very uncomfortable he said and had to ask other men in the waiting area when he came out. They affirmed to similar experience.

GOD has been WONDERFUL!!!

LOL, that's why I asked. My husband went some days ago,and he was surprised and uncomfortable. He just called now and I told him what you said,LOL.He said,he didn't even know how to go about asking such questions in the waiting room.He also said, when the female doctor told him to pull his pants down he exclaimed "WHAT!" twice. Poor thing...what he has to go through for love...I am cracking up this morning.

ha ha ha This actually made me laugh out loud remembering that conversation :D.

My Husband did not mention it to me until my inquisitive mind started asking questions. I like to have him tell me every tiny detail about this process because I told him it comes in handy in directing others on this site and on a personal level. When i asked him few days after his medical what exactly happened there, he was like 'nothing much" then started the whole bank payment stuff etc until I asked "didnt they examine you, do EKG or chest -xray" and he shared the story. He was searching for words to explain what he went through until I asked 'was it a female"? and he said 'yes" rofl.gif . He said when the Dr asked him to undress he hesitated for a while before complying. I teased him by saying " yeah you had to comply because you were probably thinking if you don't, this woman will stop your dream of coming to America" and we both laughed.

He felt that part of the process was so not necessary and so he had to confirm it was not an isolated act on him that's why he asked others. I tried explaining that well some form of male cancers or other disease exist in manly parts and so may have been the reason for the instructions, though I dont see what was accomplished without some form of palpation(feeling the actual body parts).
