RFE only handled on due date

So I received an RFE at the beginning of April for a document that they lost and submitted it again on April 16th. I called and talked to a tier 2 and he said they will only process the RFE document on its due date June 27th. I'm so shocked and disappointed, I guess reading about the short processing times for couples living overseas gave me hope that our case would go quickly, now I just don't know what to do anymore. Is it an option to try for DCF in London?

Really? I think they gave you some BS, unless they act differently on removal of conditions, because they got to our RFE about a week after it was recieved and we got notice of approval.

Hopefully they won't drag their feet until June, that'd be pretty rediculous.

You can only file DCF if the USC has had legal permanent residence for 6+ months, plus you'd have to pay all the fees again. It's worth the extra waiting as you'd have to start from scratch again.

Well, very strange and I'm not sure if one has anything to do with the other, but I'm not complaining...I sent an email to my local congressman, and two days later I have an approval! Yes, we are moving forward again.
