Mod I think the Topic name shouldn't just indicate towards K1 AOS filers, but just AOS May filers. as process is the same.

June 3, I got an RFE notice for AOS. My MIL is a co-sponsor and I got an RFE that I need to provide the most recent tax year's return. She filed an extension though, so I will send proof that she has an extension.

Hi,

Yes providing proof of extension will work, but don't forget to include the latest w2 copy, and lastest 3 or 6 salary slips if not already provided. It's nothing to worry about, as now you can be sure that rest of your documents are in order. Good Luck.

Yeah I just got her copy of her application for extension today. I had already submitted her W2 and previous years tax return so hopefully I'm good to go.

Anyone hear any news on their AOS, EAD, or AP? I admit I'm hoping for my EAD/AP in the next couple weeks. I desperately need to go home for a visit!!

EAD and AP approved as of July 5th!

Congrats!!!, I didn't hear anything yet, but hoping this month I'll get a lot of communication from them. didn't get any RFE yet? so that's good.

Just an update: I phoned in an expedite request on approximately Sept 14 or 18? I just saw on the website that my AOS application has been approved!
