Moving money to the US

I have my interview on Thursday for my K1 Visa I want to move my savings (15000$) to the US with me. I know how I am going to do it but I was wondinger what the tax implications are. Do I have to pay tax on this money?? I have tried googling the problem but I am unsure as no one has a clear answer.

There should be no tax on the money, but there may be tax on anything you buy with it once here (such as a house or whatever).
