So a petition was rejected, but he didn't refile? What happened? He just gave up and didn't want to marry that person anymore?

AOS for my husband

ROC:

@Harpa Timsah, yes the petition was rejected because he sent an insufficient amount he didn't know the exact amount and he didn't go online to check things like these, on how to process etc. He didn't send it back because the girl cheated on him on their entire relationship. sad but i am blessed to have my fiancee in my life and i am praying that this visa journey will be ok and we will be together soon i really miss him

Petitioner.. BC

ex has nothing to do with this..

my wife was divorced.. so we had to put in the divorce decree and show ex spouse name on some forms.. thats all..

i copied the back.. read some place that others go RFE because BACK was not copied..

and i even wrote.. "this is back of birth cert.".. even though it was BLANK>> LOL

its really easy to over think things during this process..

but there are others. that don't even read the instructions.. and REALLY SCREW IT UP!>.

you will be ok smile.png

Yes i really need to browse this forum/RFE etc i just signed up yesterday.

If that was my I129f, i would check yes, and in the box type continuation page and on the continuation page

and if you read the instructions for the I120f you will find out exactly how to complete the continutation sheet.

Its not a form page its just a blank sheet of paper that you type out the reason you checked yes. Also, on

your cover letter, i would include it as part of the package. Just because they sent it back rejeceted for

failure of a check, doesnt mean it wasnt logged in. Be honest, and truthful in your response. One reason

that applictions get rejected is lack of honesty. Don't take the chance! Good Luck!

I agree he should mention it somewhere - the cover letter is just as good a place as any - along with a very brief explanation of what happened so it is clear that the submission was rejected for improper fee rather than the petition being rejected (like Penguin said). Much better to get that out in the open rather than having it pop up on someone's computer at USCIS and he has not disclosed anything about it.

Hopefully you already realize that the topic of this thread is inaccurate. The topic indicates that there was a visa denial in the past, which is a big deal. A petition package getting sent back for the wrong fee is not a big deal. He submits his petition first, then the visa application will be yours (although you may work on both together).

Best wishes on your journey!

it says he should put A3 and result if he filed before. but there was no result only a sticker and some numbers and then the write letter R, so it was rejected, but what about the A# that says on the form

so he says he will just attach a piece of paper explaining that matter and he will include it in the cover letter(table of contents)
