denied visa 4-5years ago

hello everyone,

I need help regarding my 129f checklist, my fiancee(petitioner) has filed a k1 visa 4or5 years ago for his fiancee before... but it was rejected/denied, and he has a rejection letter , what should i do about that? and there's a form asking if he filed a k1 visa before so he checked ''yes''. do i need to submit the letter?i dont know i have no idea regarding that matter.

help please

First of all, do ypu know the reason why that k1 petition was denied?

because he sent a check with no sufficient amount, knowing that was the exact amount for filing. so they sent back the papers and check.

do i need to include the rejection letter to the 129f checklist?

it stated that the application or petition cannot be accepted the proper amount is bah blah blah and then stated that since the case is not properly filed, a priority or processing date cannot be assigned please attach a check or money order blah blah blah

In that case he never officially filed- he sent in the petition but it was never accepted, and thus not denied (the filing was denied, not the petition).

I would say no to both, as the petition never got accepted, but he may mentioned it briefly in the cover letter just to show he's not hiding anything.

Most people include a cover letter (just one page, or less), with a short explanation of why they are filing, what evidence is included etc.

i have made a cover letter..the I129f cover letter just like in the uscis homepage.. should i include it in the table of contents(title) and then insert a piece of paper with the explanation about that matter?

always be honest..

if you want to add it.. then add it.. it won't hurt

we used the guides and cover letter.. add a section for it.. and a short description .. it won't hurt..

ps.. ALSO.. copy the FRONT AND BACK of birth cert for USC>> another precaution.. just alittle FYI

ex has nothing to do with this..

my wife was divorced.. so we had to put in the divorce decree and show ex spouse name on some forms.. thats all..

i copied the back.. read some place that others go RFE because BACK was not copied..

and i even wrote.. "this is back of birth cert.".. even though it was BLANK>> LOL

its really easy to over think things during this process..

but there are others. that don't even read the instructions.. and REALLY SCREW IT UP!>.
