i-864 Questions

Hi folks,

Putting together my package for my AOS and filing myself (didn't seem like rocket science at the time!)

The one form I'm confused about is the i-864.

My wife is a USC and I am from the UK, we married last month and now I am applying for AOS i-130, i-485 etc...

My wife is a student and currently has no income, we live with her parents at their house and her father has agreed to be my financial sponsor.

Is he the only one to fill out an i-864 or does my wife have to fill one out too? (Seems pointless as she has no income).

I am unsure of how to proceed. Doesn't appear to be any clues in the guide either.

yes she has to fill out the same form as well

Although looking down the form, we can check the box "If you have parents, siblings or adult children at the same principle residence who are combining their income with yours by submitting an i-864A, enter the number here" can we not do that? As we are living in the same household (her parents house)?

I think reading that might be helpful. Also read the form instructions several times. It will become clearer to you.
