I am submitting bank statements for my RFE, do I need to show the account numbers or should I cross them?

11/22/12 = Filed I-751 to remove conditions

11/30/12 = Got NOA1 (I-797C)

12/23/12 = Got the bio-metrics done (USCIS Status: Pending)

I am submitting bank statements for my RFE, do I need to show the account numbers or should I cross them?

Crossing them will not do any harm, but... think about ALL of the information USCIS already has on you: SS#, Alien#, IRS transcripts, etc.

They already have way more personal information in their files that one is usually comfortable with.

So, with all that said, crossing out account numbers may give you a peace of mind, but it's just extra work.

If you do cross them out, make sure you leave at least some numbers that the statements can be identified by (i.e. so they can see the statements are from the same account)

I totally agree with your point in here, they have everything what I know. If they want to xerox me into some other person, they probably can! LOL!

Plus if you paid them by check they already have your checking account number.

July 22, 2010 Received 2 email from USCIS, Noticed Mailed Welcoming the New Permanent Resident & Green Card has been order

July 20, 2012 Filed I-751, Removing of Conditions
July 27, 2012, Received NOA1.
June 17, 2013, Received email, approved
June 21, 2013, Received new green card.
