so, the interview went ok today...the consular officer said overall my case is pretty good...except for something he had a problem with(uh oh). The interview was maybe 10 mins or less...of them 5 minutes were spent trying to figure out why my old passport did not have a stamp that I came into the country after leaving the states in 08/08. He kept flipping through the pages back and forth seeming unpleased but not letting me know what he was looking for for the first 3 minutes, and I'm thinkin to myself what the hell is the problem...well when I came in, I used a hand print card we have here which then you don't have to wait in line and use a passport, who would have thought he'd want to see that stamp(what does he think I did, swim all the way from the states to Israel? lol)

So he gave me back my originals which is a good sign, but told me I needed to provide a document from the ministry of interior with my exits and returns to see I actually returned to Israel on that date. Now I have to wait for them to process that stupid paper, but hopefully soon I can finally hand in my passport.

So, if anyone else ever got in using a hand print and not a passport, get your paper from the appropriate ministry ahead of time!(if you wrote dates in which you've been in the states before on the forms)
