just wondering if we are the only one experiencing delay in NVC. got our noa2 april 19 then after 5 days we kept calling nvc everyday to check if our case arrived, but up to now they havent receive our file from csc. what is taking them so long?it took them more than 8 months to approve our noa2. then now, another waiting time game just to send the file to nvc? is this really the trend now?

I'm in the same leaky boat. NOA2 received April 24th...as of today, (May 6,) still no NVC case number. Called every day since April 26th. Others who have gotten NOA2 near my date already have NVC case number. Guess it was my turn to fall through the cracks.

Did you all get your NOA2 hard copy yet?

It is kind of strange that few people received their NOA2 hard copy AFTER NVC received the file from USCIS. I'm still waiting for my NOA2 hard copy while NVC has already sent my file to Vietnam. So strange!!!

NOA2 4/24 --> NVC 5/1 --> Left NVC 5/3 --> Vietnam 5/6 (today) but no NOA2 hard copy in hand yet rolleyes.gif

Back to topic, I think some of you are selected for administrative processing which can take few weeks to a month or so. I think they randomly choose some K1 files for this.

NOA2 04/24, got my case number, NVC received it on 05/02. They said they will forward it to the embassy witihn 1/2 weeks. Also we received the hard copy on 04/29

So this is weird that NOA2 prior to this haven't been received by NVC yet. Should try to call USCIS and find out if they didn't lose the file.

NOA2 April 24

recieved hard copy April28

called May 05, given case number. was told it would go out probably May 10

I just think there must be some of their evaluators with different styles and routines hadling these things. Just think how many different people working on these things...separate desks...(or do some work from home?)...someone calls in sick...takes a few days/weeks off...gets fired...quits.....so many "what if" factors....do some of these people really comprehend what they are looking at?

I wonder how many of the petitions they handle just literally fall apart when they handle them (inadequate stapling or paper clipping..whatever)....how many folders they cannot evaluate properly because of lack of "good" organization ?

It all boils down to Supervision.......

We got our NOA2 on April 22. I have called the NVC several times and they always say that it takes 15 days. I called yesterday (May 6) and the guy suggested I call back on Friday. So I think they are just behind due to the many recent approvals, I hope that's the case anyway.

I would say that the NVC seems to be very professional so I am not too concerned about our experience there. I will call everyday after Friday!
