So heres my issue...On April 10th we recieved our NOA2 (yay and hamdolilah) then we got our hard copy in the mail saying it was forwarded to the NVC. So I am currently in Morocco with our 6 month old and it is difficult to call the NVC so I sent them a email to get a inquiry on our case. I recieved a response on April 17th stating that our application has not been recieved yet and that we should send a copy of our NOA2 letter to the NVC research department email..Umm ok so I did what I was told the same day...Still no response...so I finally got thru to the NVC on the phone today and the rude person on the phone stated that our application has still not been recieved...and to wait a response from the email that I sent to the research department..so...should I panic and think that our application that was sent got lost or does this simple mean that its there and just hasnt been entered into the system yet? Thanks for the replies and advice..unsure.pnghelpsmilie.gif

It is very frustrating to wait for your file to get to NVC because you would think that everything will go much faster but the truth is that lately a lot of people have been waiting a month or longer for NVC to recieve their petition. I would suggest to keep calling every couple of days until it does get there, I have been waiting just over a month already and still nothing.

Don't worry Totoemy. I will say by May 10, you should get the case number. You have to give it at LEAST a month. The customer service rep woman will keep on sounding annoyed that you call and call. I think the guy is much nicer sounding LOL. So hang in there and just get all your husband's documents in order. It really gave my husband a chance to get his original birth certificate and police record. So hopefully, you can at least get the paperwork all ready to go once you pay your fees.

Good luck and hope you are enjoying your time in Morocco. smile.png
