This is a tad bit off topic, but still relevant to DCF filing, and in Manila. What did you use for proof of residency? I can't get any more replies in the thread I started, but so far I will have this to show for proof of residency.

  • Community Tax Certificate
  • ACR I-card
  • Joint bank account, and statements
  • Visa extension stamps in passport, or receipts for payments of those extensions
  • Postal ID card
  • Barangay clearance
  • Possibly a cell phone contract

Do you think this will be enough? I'm staying with my wife so I'm not paying for rent (she lives with parents so no rent).

Thank you very much for your reply. I'm getting a notarized lease contract made for the visit to the embassy in August. I'll be "renting" the room in the house I'm staying in. I do have a month to month bill from Globe and I already have the bank account set up as well. Hopefully, with all that above and this -- it will be enough.

What all did they ask for when you went to file the petition for proof? Just an I-card? Does your I-card say Tourist on it?

Also....you may or may not be able to answer this but will I need the I-864 when I file, or for her interview?

Thank you again
