Soon, I will be filing my I-485 Adjustment of Status for my soon to be wife. She came to the US from Ukraine on a K-1 visa. I have a question regarding the I-693 Medical Exam. She received her exam and proof of vaccinations in Kiev prior to her Embassy interview at the Embassy approved medical center. The results of the medical exam and proof of vaccinations were put in a seal envelope. It was required to hand this sealed medical envelope to the Customs agent upon entry at Customs Control at the airport. How can I fill out the I-693 if USCIS already has the information?

Any help would be appreciated.

I-693 is for a Civil Surgeon to fill out, not you. If her vaccinations were complete at her medical, then I-693 is usually not needed. There is a long thread about it in the AOS from family visas forum.

Thank you for your response. I am aware the a civil surgeon has to fill out the I-693 form. Is that the standard form that is filled out at the Embassy required medical exam?

No, it is a different form. The content is similar: they are both proof of an "immigration medical exam," but one is done inside the US and the other is done at panel physicians abroad.

The thing is that K-1 is a non-immigrant visa, so it is possible to get a medical done abroad but not have all of the required vaccines administered. I personally think that they should get all the required vaccines and be done with it abroad, but for whatever reason that's not the way it is.

Have you found the thread pinned in this forum? If her vaccines are complete, she might not need to do anything. To be extra safe, you can have her vaccines transcribed on a I-693 by a Civil Surgeon (and some adjudicators require this). Getting a transcription should only be $20 or so.
