I am the petitioner - American male, for a Filipina fiance.

She had a couple of previous denials for a work visa, plus a denial for a visitor's visa. All of these were prior to me knowing her.

Would this raise a red flag for the Manila consulate? If so, is there anything we can do to alleviate this suspicion?

It's a very minor red flag- it means she definitely wants to come to the USA. But unless she lied on a visa app (such as saying she was married to increase her ties to the Phils), it should not be a major issue. JUst make sure you have plenty of bonafide relationship evidence.

I front-loaded the I-129F with about a year's worth of Yahoo chat log screenshots (1 page from each week, each page showing all the dates and times for a week and a sample transcipt - much of it intimate), photocopies of cards, flowers, and receipts of these things, pictures of our engagement and ring receipt, bank transfers, and of course all the evidence of my two visits (passport stamps, boarding passes, receipts, and pictures - including one of me with her parents and brother). Do you think this will be enough evidence? If not, do you have any other suggestions as to what to add for the interview?

That sounds good.

At interview, have her be ready with updated evidence- ie phone bills from when you sent in the petition to then, any wedding planning you've done, and if you are able to visit again, photos and ticket stubs.

New question. Form DS 156 asks for the dates of these previous denials. She knows the dates of the last two, but cannot remember if there was a third, and, if there was, what the year was.

What to do? We don't want to have her appear to be misrepresenting herself by failing to mention the first one or the date.

My future stepson was denied a B-2 twice.

We put on his 156 that he was denied twice under 214(b) in Spring 2012, but we don't remember the exact dates. He got his K-2 visa with no trouble.

What would Xenu do?
