At least you recieved your IMBRA RFE. I have not received anything, since the transfer of our paperwork in June!!!

Honestly, I dont believe in anyone anymore!!! I wrote my Senators and they say that CSC is reviewing files in STRICT CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER! Then I go to this website, and people are getting approved, who file in August???

I dont know anymore, maybe we are just not meant to be :(

In time we will all be together. It sucks but try to hang in there. But strict chronoligical order? What a bunch of BS!! Try your other Senator or your congressman's office. I'm lucky to have found someone at one of my Senators office who doesn't put up with CSC's BS responses.

Thanks

Your getting a raw deal Dean. I hope your congressman or senator can help. Have you sent them my list? That helped to show them that I was left behind and got some action.

USCIS updated their processing times. CSC went from 5/2/06 to 4/18/06 on their processing of K-1's. I'm getting so tired of their shite!

it appears there might be a mistake with what their reported processing times are...i sent my application in in the middle of september and just received an email saying my application was approved today, alhamdulillah!

cunnilingus and psychiatry brought us to this...

this is a test of patience :) stay calm

dont worry with the dates, fwguy has mentioned before that these dates are the normal six months rate upon application. we applied in june and we were approved last october without waiting for the center to post JUNE month as the processed date. at that time, MAY was processed. so, dnt rely much on the postings B)

good luck

The 6 month thing they tell you is a misnomer. I called after the 6 month point and they said well until our processing times read 5/3/06 or later we can't do an inquiry for you since are still within our processing times. And now of course they moved those times back. I did just get the following from a wonderful gal at my Senators office:

Dean - I just talked with the CSC and they have committed to providing me with definitive information next week. It is with another officer for review and hopefully final decision. Hang in there, I’ll keep bugging them.

Congratulations on finding a helpful person in your Senator's office Dean! The USCIS status report is an outright lie whose only purpose is to prevent you from calling them or making any inquiry. Sorry you are one of the unlucky ones in the mismanaged mess that is CSC. You do need a LOT of patience because the next steps in your journey are no picnic. Once your petition is approved and received by the NVC, you can expect about a 4-5 month wait for an interview date in Manila. Our K1 also got lost for a couple of months at the CSC so I understand the frustration of being a helpless victim of their sheer incompetence. Good luck and hope your NOA2 will happen very soon.

Thanks for all the support everyone. I hadn't thought of sending your report Gary, that's a great idea. My contact at my Senator's office has really been great, she actually emailed me awhile back to make sure I got our NOA2. When I told her we had not she freaked and said she would start an inquiry. Her inquiry back in October actually prompted a touch so that was nice to see that someone actually picked up our file. And she has kept after them the past 30 days too.

We can handle the wait for the Manila embassy. At least we know it's pretty much 4 to 5 months from NOA2. It's really just the not knowing that's the hardest I think.

All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.

To both of you here is what I suggest. Go to my web site and download the latest list in MSWord format. Print it out, it's about 17 pages I think, and hilight your names. Mail it to both your senators and your congressmen with a detailed letter explaining your circumstances. This is why I do these lists, not just so people can track their progress but to help those like you that are getting screwed. This worked for me and I hope it will work for you. Here is the link to download this weeks list in .doc form. When you click the link just choose save.

Good luck to you!

Dean and Chicago, it just kills me to see couples getting this sort of mistreatment. I hope you guys can hang in there a bit longer, get some justice, and obviously be with your significant others.

I think printing and sending Gary's list to your respective congress person's is a great idea.

Good luck to you both, and to everyone still waiting well past the point of reason.
