Forgive me! But I know every mole and every hair on the body of my husband, when it comes to immigration - what were you hopping on? I guess you have got interview only after ROC, and then ROE....... so you not only have idea about his tattoos, but you also don't have enough documents together. And if to be honest!!!!!!! - what kind of marriage can be buona if you see each other 2-3 times/month. Wish you good luck!

And if to be honest!!!!!!! - what kind of marriage can be buona if you see each other 2-3 times/month. Wish you good luck!

A lot of couples who are actually happily married are forced to live separately due to the circumstances for short or longer periods of time. It doesn't mean a marriage isn't valid just because they only see each other 2-3 times a month.

The problem when it comes to the OP is that they obviously didn't have enough documentary evidence to show a bona fide marriage (e.g. joint bank account? joint credit card? joint insurance policies? jointly owned property? (a house, car etc.)). I don't know which of the above they had and were able to present, but my guess is very little or none of it, otherwise they wouldn't have been called in for 2(!!!) interviews. Interviews at ROC stage are relatively rare and mostly happen in cases that have red flags. The first step is usually an RFE, and 9 times out of 10 responding to the RFE with sufficient evidence is enough to get you approved without an interview. In the OP's case they requested not one, but two interviews, which is absolutely super rare, which makes me think their case must have had major red flags. Now top that with the fact that the OP could not accurately describe her husband's tattoos, and you have a very problematic case.

I understand that you see each other only 2-3 times a month and you have a lot of errands and bills to go through, but I would also think that you would make extra time for some intimate moments to take advantage of those hours together before separating again for a while. At least that's what's expected of any normal couple with a normal and happy married life. If that is so, you couldn't have helped not to notice your husband's tattoos, especially since you've been married for 2+ years, even if you only see each other 2-3 times a month. It's a sensitive topic and forgive my bluntness but you know what was going in the IO's head when she asked you to describe your husband's tattoos and you couldn't? She was thinking "if they're a legit couple, then they must have sex when they see each other, even if it's only twice a month. If they do, then there's no way she can't have noticed the tattoos, especially those at very obvious places (e.g. the ribcage) that you just can't miss when being intimate. So if she can't tell what these tattoos are and she can't locate them with accuracy, then that could mean they don't have sex. If they don't have sex and they have all those other red flags too, then they're probably not a real couple". And you can't blame the IO for thinking that. Again, forgive my bluntness. I tried to phrase it discreetly in my previous post but the OP didn't seem to understand what I was saying. Unfortunately when it comes to immigration, even a couple's most intimate moments can come under close scrutiny, especially when there's a lot of red flags and lack of evidence on the couple's side. OP should have been prepared for questions like that when being asked for an interview not once, but twice.

My husband lives in Orlando because he works there. It was very hard for him to get a job in South FL and his cousin got him that job there. It is a very good job with a reputable company and I also have a good job in South FL. He did apply for a transfer like 6mths into the job but it doesn't have his position down here. Remember, we have to be going back and forth to see each other. He got the apt so when my son and I go to Orlando to spend time with him he has a place for us. I do know my husband. It's just that he is always getting tattoos and he would say he is getting one one day and the next day he didn't get it but a different one.....and really because we see each other like 2-3 times a month, when I see him I pay no mind to the tattoos.....we have other things to catch up on because we have 2 sets of bills to see about.

did you get the letter?? what did it say??? I hope it worked out.DONT PANIC

Hello, how long it takes to get an interview date after receiving the letter saying we will have an interview? Thanks.

I guess it depends on the office. We got ours a month after exactly. With a 2 weeks in advance before the actual interview
