No. Once you completed your case at NVC, they will give you I/L the following month or the month next to it.

I can't believe , are u kidding me ? 122 days ! Wow . So what is going to happen ? I am current but my case is not complete yet . Hurry up NVC . I WANT MY IL .

My F2A journey:

USCIS:

Sep 2011: I-130 sent

Sep 2011: Priority date

24 May 2013: NOA2(after 606 days: 20 months)

NVC:

31 May 2013: enter into NVC Building,

10 Jun 2013: Case number received,

12 Jun 2013: DS-3032 sent Via E-Mail,

15 Jun 2013: AOS bill received and paid,

22 Jun 2013: DS-3032 accepted,

25 Jun 2013: IV bill received and paid,

11 July 2013: IV & AOS package sent,

7 AUG 2013: IV accepted

7 AUG 2013: checklist for AOS Packages

14 AUG 2013: responding to AOS checklist

12 SEP 2013: Case completed,(after 105 days)

19 SEP 2013 : receive e-mail notification about case completion,

3 OCT 2013 : getting interview letter

30 NOV 2013 : interview day ...

VISA AVAILABILITY IN THE COMING MONTHS (August - October)

FAMILY-sponsored categories (potential monthly movement)

Worldwide dates:

F1: Up to five weeks

F2A: Could become “Current” at some point during the coming months.

F2B: Four to seven weeks

F3: Three to five weeks

F4: Three to five weeks

wow this is a big mouvement

After F2A would become current, what does that mean for people who just filed recently? The case is still pending, but once this is done, there is no additional wait? Basically, as if you were a spouse of a citizen?

Naaah Not as yet.. tired to get him to come up with my mother June 17th ... said he's not ready so he will come sometime around July 15

Aug 01 2013: AOS entered for review

Aug 02 2013: ds 3032 accepted

Aug 03 2013: IV invoice fee received via email and paid; Sent IV package to NVC
