Hi y'all,

Quick question, my finance and I submitted our K-1 from Israel (an immigration attorney here said it wouldn't be an issue) along with the check for the payment for the K-1. We had to use an Israeli bank that used an American bank in NY to issue us an Anerican check from an American bank. I am not with the bank that was used in America so I am unable to just pull up my account to see if USCIS cashed the check. I read somewhere on here that people received their cashed check back? Our application was forwarded to CSC from Texas, does this mean that the check was cashed? Did y'all receive your cashed check back? Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum.

Have you received your NOA1, Form I-797c, Receipt of Application notice from USCIS? That will indicate that they received the funds. Is your attorney, or are you, getting the official notification(s)?

Regarding the disposition of the check, read the Form I-129F instructions, page 4, Notice to Those Making Payment by Check:

http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-129finstr.pdf

Good luck.
