I was told that there is an expiration for visa issued. Also told me that it could be a week ONLY after the visa has been issued so you need to fly soon. How true? Please enlighten me regarding this matter?

How long does a visa (F2A) expire?

Mine was 5 months from date of issue

the expiration date on these types of visas hinges around the medical date - grab that date and go 6 months forward.

Very good point, because the medical results are only valid for 6 months
