This morning, a woman walked into my husband's pharmacy and shot his co-worker. It was right next to him - it could have been him.

I don't understand.

He's ok but he just watched someone get shot.

What is wrong with this world?

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

Holy #######, I'm sorry for your hubby's co-worker but very happy it wasn't him!

Will the co-worker be okay?

I hope you can calm down a bit...or go see him to settle you. (F)

no word yet - he is still there with the police - he is going to come get me when they let them go - they say they have a woman in custody. The women shot is a pharmacist there - one of my husbands fave co-workers. He doesn't know what is going on with her yet.

I think about - what if it had been him...and I remembered this morning when he dropped me off at work - and he said he loved me - and those could have been the LAST words he ever said to me.

It really makes you think about what could happen....I am just so thankful he is ok.

Thanks for listening guys - I am hiding in my office so the kids here don't see me in tears....hiding til he can get here to pick me up.

wow. I wonder what the motive was?

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Ohhhhhhh how sad :( Thoughts and prayers go to the pharmacist's family, and to you and your husband as well. I hope they let him go home to you soon. You need to be together. The whole thing is horrible. The news story does make it sound like it wasn't completely random. I'm so sorry you all are going through this. (F)
