Well if it makes you feel any better, I am still getting the 'its not on our system' response.

I sent back packet 3 on Jan 28th.

So far I have only sent 5 emails to them though........

Maybe theres a black hole our cases disappeared into :P

I emailed them again last night, no response. They've never responded to mine and I do the exact like everyone else said they did! I'm the USC and it's the US Embassy....they should respond to me! At least something........

Well I was getting worried that it might have got lost in the post. Not that I can't resend the information, its just going back 4 weeks in the process.

At least with someone else in the same situation I can sort of feel less troubled by the situation!

I just sent them email no 6.

I have emailed them at least 6 times now and had nothing but robotic canned responses.

This is their wisdom for today - 'You can expect to receive an interview date in approximately 8 weeks from

the completion of the processing.

Thank you for your e-mail correspondence. '

8 weeks??!! theyre joking right. I dont have 8 weeks. How can other people get an interview date after 2 weeks and I have to wait 12?!

Its time to bring in the big guns now (state department, washington D.C. Get them to put some pressure on London)

I emailed the Embassy in Manila a couple times and got responses both times. It took them a couple weeks but they did write back. Maybe it's because I have a .gov email address...? Who knows...

Good luck and hope you hear something soon.

Thanks for the wishes. London seems to be quick in replying (within a day usually), maybe they just don't like me or my email address :P It's an offical university one...o well, at least they reply to James. But not a good reply :(

Hi, I know its frustrating all the aiting as Im up for my interview tomorrow morning but when I received my packet 4 the original letter they had made out to send to me with that packet had 14th Dec 2005 on it and I didnt get packet 4 until 17 January 2006 as it had obviously been sitting in the Consulate offices for a whole month without any action. They certainly hadnt sent it before that because I CHECKED THE POSTMARK ON THEIR ENVELOPE AND IT SAID 13TH JAN 2006. so these things do happen and I wouldnt be unduly concerned because it can easily take 4 weeks plus for them to get back to you with an interview date.

I have everything crossed for luck that you hear very soon ok..."OUCH"!! THAT HURTS...ok revision here almost everything crossed...lol...

Its 5 weeks now and no Interview date. :(

six emails so far and they have replied to 4 of them, with the usual 3-4 week standard reply.
