I sent my packet 3 to London Embassy on 2nd Feb, that was 4 weeks ago. They still havent inputted it onto their system. People who sent theirs back later than me have recieved interview dates! whats going on??

is this normal?? im really worried about it now. I keep getting the same stupid canned response from them that they havent recieved my forms and it takes 3-4 weeks to be inputted onto their systems. My packet was signed for there, i have the special delivery details of proof of signature.

I can understand your frustration. It really is ridiculous how these people work. I had my eye on your timeline since I sent my packet 3 about 11 days after yourself so I was hoping to get the packet 4 soon AFTER you, but today I have received it.

After I read your first post about them not receiving your documents, I sent the following email to London on Feb 24, 2006:

=====================================================

Good morning!

Our case number is LND XXXX XXX XXX

I received my Packet 3 from the US Embassy on February 11, 2006 and returned it to the Embassy on Feb 13, 2006 by RoyalMail Special Delivery. The RoyalMail tracing number was ZV 06178 3425 GB.

Can you please confirm if it has been received? Your assistance is much appreciated.

Kind regards,

J Waziri.

======================================================

I got the reply today AND also got the physcial Packet 4 today. Here's their reply:

===========================================

An appointment has been scheduled for March 16 at 10:30 a.m. Written confirmation of the date and time of the appointment has been sent to you.

Miranda,

I would email them and ask the status of your case and tell them that you had already submitted packet 3. Good luck.

Im not sure how well the 'frustration' email works James...though i know only too well how stressful it is. If I were in you shoes, I'd email a little more, once every other day maybe.

Just an idea.

Miranda here....James and I have both emailed them about it. I know others wait longer but I'm just extra worried since jmwaziri sent theirs in after ours and got their date (I really am happy for you!!) so I just want to be sure something hasn't gone awry. I'm sure it's just normal impatience on our part :P

I understand and share your frustration with London Miranda, but at least be thankful that they reply to your e-mails. I have e-mailed them 3 times asking where my documents are and they have NEVER replied. I understand you're worried that it's sitting in a pile somewhere unopened but you are just gonna have to sit and wait for them to get in touch with you..... even though you feel like your in the slow lane in a traffic jam and others are speeding past to their interview dates!

just try not to :clock:

Maybe theres a black hole our cases disappeared into :P

I emailed them again last night, no response. They've never responded to mine and I do the exact like everyone else said they did! I'm the USC and it's the US Embassy....they should respond to me! At least something........
