Hello every one

i read all this information and i still did not understand if i have to go and see civil surgeon. sad.png

i had 2 vaccinations before my K1 interview, and the doctor gave me the copy of the form which proves i got done those 2 vaccinations Td and MMR, the rest of the vaccinations are stated in the form as Not Age Appropriate

if i send that copy of the form with my AOS packet is not going to be ok?

thanks for your inputs guys i really need advise

Is anything blank? What about the flu shot and varicella? What are those marked?

Sorry I just have a quick question for K1 visa holders. Did you guys receive your medical results on a CD during your interview? We did.

My fiance hasn't entered the country yet so we still haven't had our K1 packet opened.

You should have been given a copy of the DS-3025 vaccination worksheet. They give you a copy of your chest x-ray on a CD. That is yours to keep and not needed for AOS.

Influenza, which I believe is last on the list. It should not be marked not age appropriate. Everyone over the age of 6 months must get this during flu season.

Also, varicella should not be marked not age appropriate. It should have VH marked if you already had chickenpox and do not need the vaccination.

DS-3025 vaccination worksheet is given to you on the day of the medical isn't it? I do believe we have it in that case. During the interview we just got that CD and I wasn't sure if that was needed or not. My fiance and I were planning to immigrate to the UK after marrying in the states (it's a long story!) but due to UK visa complications we're staying in the states and now we're scrambling to get everything prepared for the OAS lol. Thank you for your help!

You will need to find a civil surgeon that won't insist on a new medical. You will probably have to call around to find one. You can look through this long thread to see if one is listed anywhere near you > http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/231026-civil-surgeons-who-dont-rip-you-off/

Take the DS-3025 with you to get your vaccinations transcribed onto an I-693. If you had chickenpox, then you can tell them that and you won't need varicella. Otherwise, you will need the varicella shot. You will also need the flu shot, since it is flu season right now.

You can print one out here and read through the instructions > http://www.uscis.gov/i-693

You can fill out the top part info about yourself, but do not sign it. You need to sign it at the civil surgeon's office in front of them. The civil surgeon will deal with the rest of what he needs to fill out on page 1 and the vaccinations page. He should provide you a copy of the completed form and place the original in a sealed envelope for you to send in with your AOS paperwork.

thanks much for the link you gave me but that us the instruction for medical examination which i have already done and is valid for 12 months. the link does not say anything about vaccinations

i think the worksheet what i have is sufficient to send to USCIS.

if the vaccinations are not complete for USCIS you think they will deny me or they will send me RFE?

Yes. That is the I-693. That is the form used by civil surgeons in the US. That is the form you need for AOS. See Page 5, #3 of the instructions >

3. What if I am a K nonimmigrant visa holder and already had a medical exam overseas?

If you were admitted as a:

a. K-1 fiancé(e) or a K-2 child of a K-1 fiancé(e); or as a

b. K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen or a K-4 child of a K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen; and

c. You received a medical examination prior to admission, then:

(1) You are not required to have another medical examination as long as your Form I-485 is filed within one year of your overseas medical examination, and the medical examination did not reveal a Class A medical condition, or if you did have a Class A medical condition, you received a waiver of inadmissibility and have complied with the terms and conditions on the waiver.

(2) Even if a new medical examination is not required, you must still show proof that you complied with the vaccination requirements. If the vaccination record (DS 3025) was not properly completed and included as part of the original overseas medical examination report, you will have to have the vaccination report completed by a designated civil surgeon. In this case, you are required to submit the vaccination record and page 1 of Form I-693.

If you send your DS-3025 as it is, and you are missing vaccinations and/or the DS-3025 was not properly filled out, then you would get an RFE. You would then have to find a civil surgeon to do exactly what I am telling you to do right now. So, either way. You can do it now, or send a copy of your DS-3025 and hope the person that processes your case does not notice/care about the vaccinations. If they send you an RFE, then you can do all this with the civil surgeon at that time.

No, you do not need the new medical. That is why I said you need to call around and gave you link to that thread to look for a civil surgeon that will do just the vaccinations for you, like they are supposed to for a K-1. They will transcribe the vaccinations you already have onto the form and give you any that you are missing and need for AOS. You do not have to get all the vaccinations again, just the ones you never had to begin with and are not marked off on your DS-3025.

post-131606-0-33372600-1389974927_thumb.jpgWe got rfe for aos because of my vaccination ,I have just did my medical exam at a civil surgeon ,I need it to get a flue shot because is the season and the TDAP ,I did them and my vaccinations are complete ,my concern is that at the TB skin test my hand got red and the doctor told me I need an x-ray to see if I have TB,i did the xray and it said " there is NO radiographic evidence of tuberculosis "She recommended a blood test to make sure that I wasn't exposed to the virus or it is just an allergic reaction of skin to the substance they injected or an allergic reaction of one of the vaccines I got before (I got a TD vaccine in 1989 in Romania) ,she said that my medical exam can be closed and sent. After she signed the exam ,gave me the envelope to send it to uscis ,gave me a copy with the medical exam .Wend we read it, it was at X-ray normal but underneath at tb classification/findings she marked that I have class B/latent TB infection .We are very worried that that may cause us problems with the AOS .Is that right for her to say that I have latent TB wend she doesn't know for sure? She told me that I need a blood test to make sure I have the virus or its just an allergic reaction ,how can she say I have latent tb wend the xray is normal and no blood test was made?

Please help us out with an answer

It should not be a problem if the x-ray was clear. You also already proved you had no TB for the K-1 medical as well. You should not have even needed a new medical.

You will probably get more replies to your question if you start your own thread.

Hi Jay-Kay, when I did my medical exam overseas for K1, I was given a choice to get vaccinated or wait till I get to the US. I take it that my DS-3025 will definitely not have the vaccination records mentioned. So a trip to the Civil Surgeon is in order to fill out I-693 then?

I was given my chest x-ray to keep, but if this is just for vaccination, there is no need to bring that to the CS then? Also, is there any time frame between I-693 and the AOS application? Between the wedding, the registered copy of the marriage certificate and the AOS application, it's another item to add to the list, but I want to make sure all the ducks are lined up. Thank you for your advice.
