Visiting from a poor country

Has anyone had experienced visiting multiple times from a poor country on a B visa?

My S/O visited for 2.5 months last winter and he had absolutely no problems. We're planning on him visiting again in the fall, and I'm already stressing about it. I'm worried that last time was a fluke and this time he's going to get a lot of trouble-especially since it's his second visit in less than a year and especially since he will be going through a different POE (last time it was Miami, this time it will probably be JFK).

Not a fluke.

If you S/O returned within the prior to VISA expiring, then, the consulate will trust your S/O will return on the second trip. Therefore, you should not be discouraged or concerned. However, a chance is not a guaranteeing word.

Might not have any problem but it all depends on the officer POE, if he is visiting twice in a year they would want to know what he is doing in US etc.
