Hi - I (the beneficiary) have recently moved and don't want London to send me anything by post to my old address, because I won't get it.

What I want to know is: does London also send packet 3 by e-mail (which makes sense since it's just a list of URLs anyway)? In which case I can just use my new address on the forms I send back....

Help would be appreciated...

Thanks

Hi,

I am not sure if but I dont think that embassy sends pk3 letter by email. I think you or your fiance can change your address by calling NVC number on 2026631225.

It is not where I breathe but where I love that I live.

Wish you would make a timeline. It helps when answering questions...like are you still waiting on NOA2?

You can try to change the address with NVC, but many cases are there only a couple of days so hitting the timing is a trick. You don't need the letter for any purpose if you have the URL to the K1 instructions and forms (given to you in post #6 of the pinned K1 thread above). Dan has posted a copy of the letter in Post # 18, so you can read it/print it for getting the other details. It reminds you that your petition expires after 4 months, so get your stuff in. And if you are going to dawdle around you will need a new letter of intent from the US petitioner if you let the 4 months pass without you applying for the visa by mailing in your forms.

A call to the Dept of State will let you know the proper time to mail things back if you don't get a letter. You ask if London has logged your case. If yes, then that's your GO signal.

...also you refer to a "Pinned K1 thread above..."..where?

Maybe you didn't intend to post this in reply to my thread, but someone else's because it doesn't make sense in context of my question....

Not very helpful, mate.

Why in earth would I be on here trying to pre-empt next stages if I were "dawdling around"....?

My subject titles clearly states NVC complete, so that's where I'm at!

That was a generic "you" meaning anybody applying for a K1 visa is told only in the letter that information about revalidating an expired petition.

Sorry I took the time to answer. I wont bother again. I don't like your attitude. Work it out for yourself.

Apologies Nick if I came across a bit sharp.

Thanks for replying...if you could point me in the direction of the URL which links to a copy of the packet 3 letter that would be great...
