I can tell you from experience, that after so much waiting... even a week or a month seems like an eternity. I understand how your wife feels, because it really isnt easy to just sit and wait. But just let her know that it feels just as bad for you as it does for her. Dont worry about that, its just the jitters that sometimes takes the best of us. Just a little longer, and this will all pass. Whats a year when you will spend a lifetime together? It'll make for a very nice fairy-taleesque story to tell your grandkids one day! :-)

Thalita, Thanks so much for the words of encouragement. I need them and so does my wife. I am at whits end. My wife is in danger every day that she stays in Philippines as her cousin that raised her has mental issues and has threatened on more than one occasion to kill her. No Police reports made because they don't report their family members, even if they make death threats. Tried to get expedite but denied. I am so worried about my wife. I have her in hiding now...no one knows where she is for her own safety. But anyway thanks so much for the encouragement. I just hope I don't lose her before this ends. We are so close but.....

I am constantly checking my email but I think I will not receive an email until 7-10 days after the appointment has been set? So I call NVC at least twice a day. I have also lost my mind. My wife is ready to give up on me. It is so stressful I fear she will change her mind and not come with me after all. I hate this waiting....it's killing me! None of this makes any sense. Talk about the most inefficient operation I have ever seen....

My experience....I was calling the NVC twice a day, once in morning and once in evening. The morning they told me I had an interview date scheduled I received an email with the same info within an hour. Not sure if it was just a coincidence though. As far as your wife....this process is amazingly stressful. I understand how your feeling as my husband was ready to call it quits just a few days ago. The process is long and wears on your nerves. my thoughts to you....stay strong and positive. I know it is difficult but always be as encouraging as possible. I was almost to my breaking point this week.....but hang in there and have faith. And the fellow VJers are awesome. Wish I could hand out rewards!! My journey isn't over yet either....I have my stepsons case to finish so nothing but positive thoughts for me!!

WoooooooHooooooo.......My husband got approved this morning!! got that famous "Welcome to the US" letter and also managed to get the C1 ticket. I am beyond excited!! One down and one more to go!! This should make my stepsons case go through smoothly Once he gets home and tells me more about the interview......I will put that in my timeline for review

Hubby was approved!! It all went super smoothly! We even managed to get same day visa pick-up. Thanks so much to everyone here for your support! You all helped keep my spirits up, especially during the eternal wait for the P4. I appreciate it so much more than I could express with words. Thanks guys!!

This might be helpful is this is updated first before getting the email.

As of now the list shows that is the " final list" for june so i know that for dominican rep, no more interview available for june. And my case number is not on the list.
