Good morning everyone,

I have just contacted the NVC to ensure our documents had been sent on the 24th and they were indeed.

Also, the CSO (Rose) also told me that they send the paper copy via DHL and also an electronic copy via email.

So, effectively, embassies receive our files the same day they are shipped.

I have cheekily emailed the Embassy to ask for an interview date as they've received our files electronically. After all, who doesn't ask, doesn't get!

What does the "RECEIVED" date mean in your table? Thank you.

The day you found out your interview date. Some of us call some get the email. Now that the email comes same day its so much better now.

Hey guys!

I have a question in regards to the medical. Is it possible to get it done a couple days prior to the interview? My husband and I planned on flying down to Rio ( 3 hours by plane ) about a week before the interview and get both things done.

How long does it take? a day or two? When is it ready to be picked up?

Im so anxious... I refresh my mailbox every hour.

You may want to ask this in your regional forum or call the doctors that do the medicals. I know it varies here for how long it takes to get results back but generally it's 1-3 days AFTER the medical. However it may be completely different for you and it depends on how close to a weekend your interview is and if the doctor does business on the Sat or Sun (which isn't likely IMHO.)

My goodness this wait is killing me! its like being at a soccer game, dying to scream GOAL and sitting on the edge of the seat waiting for it.
