husband received 221g

Today my friend husband went to Ghana Embassey for his 3rd interview and he was given a 221g form. He was also informed that his paperwork would be sent back to NVC and then NVC will forward it to USCIS. He also said that the consular gave him his Marriage Certificate back to him. They told him that the Petitioner shouldn't call in those 6 months to inquire. There were a lot of red flags before he even went to the Embassey. The name change to Muslim name, American name and then back to muslim name. Have this every happen to anyone you know of?

Whatname changed to Muslim name, American name and then back to muslim name? His name? Who changed it. Please provide more information.

Obviously he changed his own name at some point of time and then he changed his name back to his Muslim name.

What happened during the first two interviews? What questions were asked and what more evidence did they ask him to provide? I am sure he may have been asked to provide addtional evidence during after his first and second interviews.

Changing his name from a muslim name to an American name and then back to a muslim name should not cause the denial unless he concealed relevenat information from the embassy and they found out. I think you are allowed to change your name to whatever name and as many times as you want if it is done "correctly". If he wansn't denied for misrepresentation or on some serious issue, then they can fix once they hear from NVC with the help of a lawyer.
