Hehehe nope.. I have stopped crying.. Today is a new day and there's lots to do and so little time. Got all the DS forms done. Oh and question about those if anyone can help? The DS-157? It says "to be completed online and printed by all males between the ages of 16 and 45 (inclusive) applying for a K visa".

Since I am female and my son is only 12yrs, I dont have to complete that one, correct?

Going to get my police check organised and get my children's custody papers certified today. My children are up-to-date with their immunisations but I need to find my records, but can't do anything about medicals yet. I have a 3.5hrs travel for my medical and 1.5hr plane ride to the embassy, so it's going to be an expensive time LOL. And then just have to wait for my fiance and co-sponsor to fil in their paperwork and send to me.

Just a bit fed up today to be honest with things in general. There's a Colombian guy going round the forums spreading misinformation about the transfers (he's going around saying "OMG TEXAS IS THE ONLY PLACE TO PROCESS K1s!!!!) which means now that other posters are panicking about any transfers and whether they're good or not.

Hopefully the moderators will put him back in line.. For those who have done research, they know it's not true.. Hold tight. Something will happen soon

Eh.. it's those that haven't done research I'm concerned about because they're the ones running around like headless chickens or will post multiple threads about the sky falling.

Anyway.. Nurseling - no news as yet but then I'm not expecting to get the third email (and a letter to Amy) until next Wednesday at the earliest.

Is there any reason why my fiance didn't get the notice of transfer on his phone or email? We know his email works because they sent an email to him when the file was received. So he's not getting any notifications.

He might need to check his settings on the USCIS page or something, that doesn't sound right.

Yeah, same here, no text or email notifications about the transferred, its been two days now. I think the physical file is still at VCS and they may start sending notifications once it is in transit?

Is there any reason why my fiance didn't get the notice of transfer on his phone or email? We know his email works because they sent an email to him when the file was received. So he's not getting any notifications.

My fiance (petitioner) had the same thing. He got the NOA1 email and then nothing. But he didn't sign up for the USCIS case updates. You need to make an account on the USCIS website. I did that but my fiance didn't and I got all the notifications after NOA1. If you have made an account, make sure the email box is ticked to receive email/sms. If you have done that, then it must be something wrong on USCIS end.

As was said in a thread in the Service Center forum regarding how the transfers work:

Email/SMS #1 is sent out when they transfer the electronic contents of your file.

Email/SMS #2 is sent out when they send your physical file to Texas.

Email/SMS #3 is sent out when Texas has gotten and logged your physical file.

Anyone who was transferred on Wednesday should have gotten #1 and #2 assuming they were signed up for case updates either by doing it online or by sending in the G-1145 with the original petition.

THat makes alot of sense. We didn't have an account on the USCIS website. I was actually filling the info on there out before i read your message! Thanks once again Ozgirl! Oh by the way in regards to the DS230 form i think it was, you were right, they have a new form to be done online (I think DS260) as the paper one will become obsolete as of sometime in early Sept. Not sure which day exactly.

anyway, just to kill the time of waiting I have started to fill up the forms needed for interview, print all our pictures, chats and emails too and I started to go back to my aerobics! The most important is to pray, this will give us so much hope!
