This might encourage a few of the transferees to TSC ...

Approval after 25 days after transfer. Keep your hopes up everyone

It -would- be nice if that were the case given a lot of us who were transferred had NOA1 dates at around May 17th or so.

Well since you have just been transfered, hang tight and while doing so, yeah do some of your other forms. There is talk about the DS230 being replaced by the DS260, but hopefully I'll get packet 3 from Syd and see if they have changed what is current on their packet 3 and I can let you know.

The DS230 is a real PITA. To be safe and ready, do that form first as it can take some time thinking of all your previous address etc.

The new DS260 is all online, so no need for printing. It gets sent straight thru to the embassy.

I'll give a link to what I found about packet 3 and you can make a start on what you feel like..

http://canberra.usembassy.gov/fiance_niv_appl.html Sydney

Hope this helps. Just go thru 1 at a time.

Thank you so much for your help Ozgirl! I will get started on the DS 230 this weekend. It's only the DS 230 part 1 that we send in when we get packet 3 right? Every weekend i'm doing a little at a time. I'm hoping to be in the US in December but no later than early Jan as our wedding is March 1 and i need to do hair and makeup trials, tastings etc! Very exciting :) Maybe we will see each other in Sydney. Who knows!

So true! I've seen alot of end of May filers approved like end of August. Kind of unfair but hopefully all of us will hear good news soon.

I have just seen that 3 out of the 9 numbers in my little batch were touched this week. 1 approved, 1 rfe and 1 address change... That leaves 6 of us in our little group so hopefully we'll hear something very soon..... I'm keeping my fingers crossed for everyone, especially those transferred... Good luck to you all.... ?

Have faith. Good things come to those who wait. It will be well worth it.. To be able to snuggle with your loved ones.. Nothing better in my eyes. I'm not of any faith or religion, but I will be praying for you all.

Thanks.. Your turn will be just around the corner. Hold your head high and keep your dreams alive star_smile.gif

Correct. Send in DS 230 part 1. I guess that gets the file ready and checked over. I have heard of some people sending everything in at the same time thou. I believe that if we send DS230/1 in first while still collecting documents, then there might not be as much of a wait as Sydney have already had time to get files out and to look over and get ready to send out interview date.

I'm also hoping to be in US late dec too.

Ps Before Christmas day was going to cost me about $5,500 for my family to fly, but Boxing day will only cost $4,000. There are 4 of us flying thou. We are going to POE in Hawaii to let my kids (12, 9 and 5yr old) stretch their legs before moving onto Seattle.

Medical update

Hello everyone

Back after my ordeal lol. No it wasn't so bad except my third eye (the spot that appeared on my forehead this morning was winking at the doctor) lol.

Ok so started the morning jiggling at 5 am to Ozgirl's good news. Then got my self sorted ready to go around 9.00 my appointment was 10:50 so was going to take a long route and walk there. It was scorching outside I was sweating so much I could have bottled it and sold it to recover some of the money I was a about fork out for the darn medical lol.

Anyway walked there in the lovely sun. Got there just on time. Note to those going to medical in London Bentwick house has a sign on it but easy to miss. It's on the opposite side of the pub at the corner. Right got there gave my name and was told to produce my passport and my passport pic and the police certificate and any immunization record I have. Anyway handed the nice receptionist the passport pic the police certificate copy and also brought the original for her to see then my immunization stuff and the health questionaire i downloaded on the website. She then asked me to fill in another health questionnaire she said that was for the embassy records. I took the paper and clipboard and went and sat down to fill it out. Noticed a few people were sat i the waiting room 3 girls and one gentleman. I filled out the form and handed it back to her and she said go take a seat someone will call you. Anyway whiles sitting down I decided to ask the girl next to me how long she had been waiting. (Cos I am chatty like that). She replied 20 mins she was also doing k1 well the quiet room turned in to a chat room cos the other girl then said so am I then piped up the other two. Ok so it turned out we were all there for the same reason. I then went round asking everyone where they were PoEing there was New York, Missouri , Knoxville, and the man said he was of to Texas. Everyone felt comfortable after that since we were all in the same boat at the same stage waiting for interviews from the embassy. Two of the girls came from outside London Manchester and Dorking. Wow people really do have to travel. That will be the same for their interviews. Anyway 30 mins later I got my name called by a middle age Australian doctor she was smiley and shook my hand. She proceeded to say I see your a nurse and I say yes I am so she said so what sort of nurse are you and I say I am a critical care nurse. She said god that must be stressful do many people die and I say yes there isn't a day when there isn't a cardiac arrest on the unit. She looked shocked and said I do take my hat of to you for being able to do that lol. I told her am used to it now. So she starts with the usual explanation of what test they were going to do. By the way guys only syphillis test is taken no more HiV testing. She said too much controversy sourrounding it so they don't require it any more. Anyway she asked me the health questionnaire questions quickly and I said no to everything then she proceeded to check my eye. Asked me to cover one eye and read some letter in front of me then the same with the other eyes she then said great your vision is fine. She told me to sit down while she shone a light in to my pupils then said great no problems there. Next was the ear test. Oh and yes I did clean my ears before I left home lol. Didnt fancy a glob of wax comeing out lol. She said good after doing that. She then asked me to strip down took my blood pressure well 138/ 70 was slightly high cos I usually am in the range of 120/65. We figured it was nerves and stress of the whole ordeal so she said she was ok with that number anything less than 140 is fine no need for concern. Next she checked my lymph nodes for signs of infection. First was my neck nodes then my armpit nodes then my groin nodes. She said great nothing. Next was the breast test she felt all around both breast for any lumps or abnormalities. Said nothing fine. Next she listen to my heart and lungs while i was lying down. she said you have a heart murmer and i say really? i listen to my heart this morning with my own steathascope just before i took my blood pressure? She laughed and told me to sit up she wants to listen again. She listened again and said no I don't hear anything it must have been the position you were lying. Next she proceded to pressing at my tummy checking for any unusual growth. I did tell her before she started that I have a umbilical hernia which she agreed and asked if I was going to see a doctor for it I explained to her that I had it done ones and it poped right back out a month later so I have a appointment next week with the doctor that did the surgery to have it done again. This time I will make him put the damed mesh there. She started laughing and said you really know your stuff don't you. I suppose being a critical care nurse you would. She went on to say be careful that it doesnt stop popping back in when you press it because that ould mean there's a problem. So I say yes I know it means intestinal strangulation leading to reduced blood flow ending with necrosis of the bowels And possible death lol. She laughed out loud and said I see I really don't need to educate you. Anyway next was the blood test she took some blood for the syphillis test then said last thing we need to do is to check your genitalia area. She apologised for what she was about to do then wore some gloves and proceeded to check my bits. Well thank god nothing sinister. She said that's fine nothing abnormal. Apparently anyone over 30 has to have that part checked for signs of stds and any genitalial deformities. Then she told me to put my clothes on and that was it test done. I went to the reception area and paid £235.00. There was no required immunization the nurse who came to tell me even joked about how organised I was with all my immunization record upto date made her job easier. I went back to the reception area and exchanged numbers with one of the girls the one going to Missouri we said we would keep intouch since our dates were the same we may even up seeing each other at the interview.

Sorry you have all had to endure my very long essay/book. But unfortunately it would never make it to the publishers cos no one would by it. Hope this info helps those going to their medicals soon. The moral of the story is don't get stressed they really are nice there and the tests are straight forward. Don't go stressing yourself out and developing a third eye overnight like I did ie the spot on my forehead caused by worry.it will all be fine. On the way home I stopped by boots to pick up a bottle of clearasil to get ride of it. It might go by tomorrow with luck:)

So the EAC number directly after me has been approved as well, so i feel skipped.

Feeling very low right now :( Feel impatient, still well within the guidelines, only really just been over 3 months. I wouldn't say I am from a high risk country, gave evidence that we lived together for nearly 5 months last year. She stayed with me. This site is a blessing and a curse at the same time lol. But congratulations on all those that have gotten their approvals.

I guess I should just appreciate that I am in love.

They might just be waiting on the results of your background check. Don't fret too much, you'll likely see something in a couple days if you're getting approvals all around. :)

Not so certain about that :/

Here my obsessive personality will shine through but...

Looked up some WAC's around my number, our ARN May 21.

There's 3 in front of us that are in process, same last touch for ARN (May 21), the last approved one before us was July 31.

3 after us also under initial review with ARN May 21 before one approved on August 6.

Then another ARN May 21, next one Changed address June 20, next RFE August 8, next two initial review May 21, followed by an RFE August 5,

next a post office return as undeliverable on June 12, next an August 19 approval, followed by another May 21 ARN, next an RFE August 9, another ARN May 21,

followed by an July 31 approval, an August 5 RFE,next a May 23 ARN, August 20 RFE, August 28 approval,

next another May 21 ARN(this being 150 numbers behind us, keep in mind that they're intermingled with other cases too tho)

Do apologize for the messy paragraphs, felt single lines would be slightly overdoing it tho.

It seems very random?

See, You breezed it. Congrats!! Thanks for the update
