We were planning it for May but now where Amy's family aren't coming down from Michigan and my family won't be going either, we're having two receptions on each side of the Atlantic. So we may cancel the part of the park we had booked for the wedding ceremony in May, or use it for a photoshoot instead. But other than that, I don't have anything else to tie up.

That's funny my fiancés family is from Michigan too. We planned to make a trip down there once I arrive.

Hopefully your approval comes soon. I feel you should be ready to move by December or January too.

Well, I've wanted to train as a teacher for a long time, so I'm probably either going to study for a Master's in Education to start off with, or get onto one of the teaching programs in RI. I've worked with kids as a Scout Leader for nearly three years or so now, but in the UK it's hard to get actual classroom experience due to insurance costs for the schools. So in the long run, I want to get into teaching.

Cool. Cost of schooling is ridiculous there though Ryan. You may need to wait couple of years to get a instate fee reduction. Meanwhile you may have to do something else.

I lived in rhode Ireland for 3 months back in 2002. Providence to be exact. Nice place expensive to live though. Things were really expensive at providence place mall. You have all the mansions not too far from there. Went to Boston watched the Boston celtics play basketball it was a amazing experience. Drove to Massachusetts and New York. Then on another trip went to buffalo New York twice. Too cold for me there.

I must say I did like manhattan for the shopping experience I also went for a few weeks to South Carolina orange urge, Charlotte North Carolina. Very slow pace. People are nice so different from London lol. Don't know about you but I think I will glad to get out of the rat race in London. My first experience in the US going back a decade now lol. Someone said morning ma'am how Are you. I was shocked cos surely they aren't greeting me. Unlike in the uk where no one ever even farts in each other in the mornings let alone say morning lol.i find people have better manners in the states lol.

As for your approval whats happening with the EAC numbers around yours any movement there? I hope you get yours soon. We are in the last few leg of the k1. So I am praying it all goes well then on to AOS once I arrive in the usa.

No movement since we last got transferred.. same with my group wacko.png

I can't understand whats going on with this transfer stuff surely they should have started approving you guys by now. Got a alert on my phone for one transfer EAC 1390315742 who got a rfe and EAC 1390315743 who's address changed on the 19th aug but since then they have not touched the file.also the ones that sayed at Vermont two files still no touch from the rfe they gave them. Surely it doesn't take that long to approve some rfes right!

1/27/2014 arrived at PO Box Chicago lock box waiting to be picked up

1/27/2014 (day1)AOS received by USCIS according to USPS online mail tracker signed for by R MERCADO

2/2/2014. (day7) text message and email from USCIS for acceptance of all forms.

1/31/2014 I-485 accepted receipt number and hard copy has been sent. Processed at National Benefits Centre.

1/28/2014 I-131 application for travel documents in initial review receipt number given and hard copy has been sent

1/28/2014 I-765 application for employment authorization in initial review receipt number given and hard copy has been sent.

2/7/2014 (day11) noa1 hard copy arrived in the mail for I-485 I-131 I-765

2/14/2014 (day18) biometric appt letter arrived in the mail. Appt schedualled for 2/26/2014 11.00am.

2/18/2014 (day 22) biometrics successful walkin.

4/01/2014 faxed expedite supporting documents to number on letter sent to me. Waiting waiting waiting

4/03/2014 (68 days) EAD and AP approved text message sent status post decision. Hooray !!!

4/7/2014 (72 days ) status change to card in production for EAD.

4/10/2014 ( 75 days) status changed after calling uscis regarding urgency of EAD. Also usps tracking number at 20.580pm

I am now planning on a March wedding which would be great since I will be home in New Orleans for Mardi Gras. I can do both on the same vacation :-)

I also got an email from a May filer with a May 15th NOA1 that got approved on yesterday. So VSC is still working just slowly

June 4, 2015, your request to have your case expedited, referral number xxxxxxxxx, was assigned to an officer for response.

June 18, 2015 EAD CARD APPROVED AWAITING DELIVERY!!!

June 24,2015 EAD/AP combo card picked up by USPS

June 25, 2015 EAD/AP card received

October 6, 2015 email stating greencards in production!!!

08/19/2013 Called DOS told NVC received file case number given.

08/21/2013 file in transit to London embassy as stated on CEAC website also spoke to DOS to confirm

O9/05/2015 medical appointment

09/06/2013 packet 3 arrived in the mail.

Yeah pretty upsetting to say the least. Even some June couples are getting approved. Trying to stay positive though.
