Well, still no approval as of yet.. maybe within the next two weeks. Hopefully it is, because then I might be able to move in time for Thanksgiving.

To be honest Ryan and Amy even thought according to the CEAC website our file is in transit to London I still feel it will take another 3 months for completion it seems London is dragging their feet at the moment. It's taking some people a few weeks to hear from London. They have told knightbridge clinic we can't go do anything till they receive the file according to the Knightsbridge doctor. The only thing the system is allowing me to do is to pay the $240.00 for the visa. Am not really holding my breath about getting there till the end of the year. Just as well we planned to get married January. I will see if by tomorrow the file reaches London. I hope the new week brings your approval.

Yes that's true ozgirl I had my fiancé go and notarise ours so it was current. Any news from rfe yet?

Not yet.. with any luck, our status should change tomorrow to say they have received it.

Happy birthday. I hope the gift you get is your approval this coming week. That would make for a great birthday present. And thanks for the cake lol. Like you I love bakeing. I tell you what else I been learning to do. Couponing. I have a friend that does it so well she doesn't pay for her food infact the stores pay her money back. She is one of those extreme Kraft coupon lady lol. I don't plan to do it that extensive just enough to save at least 50% off grocery shopping while sitting at home not working for the first 3 months. Was watching on youtube all these lady's literally paying nothing for there food wow no such thing here in the uk.

I baked a pumpkin loaf last week and a butternut squash loaf yesterday. There's only a few slices left the kids have demolished it lol.

There's roughly a 2-3 week window before a case number is generated pending your not a Texas transfer. It seems its takeing longer for the transfers. After noa2 your case number is given by either NVC or Dos.i personally called Dos as the waiting time on hold is less and they are a lot nicer to talk too. I will give you both numbers but honesty your better of calling Dos.

Dos number is 2026631225. Press1 then press 0

NVC number is 6033340700

I'm double-checking this with the rest of the London crew down in the UK forum. It doesn't seem right that the Embassy are handing out our details to Knightsbridge. Data Protection and all of that.

Update in my two transfers from my group guys. EAC1390315742 got a rfe just now. Who ever it is hope you get it sent as soon as so you can get your approval.

I'm double-checking this with the rest of the London crew down in the UK forum. It doesn't seem right that the Embassy are handing out our details to Knightsbridge. Data Protection and all of that.

Nurseling, when you rang Knightsbridge did you make any mention of the fact that your case wasn't physically in London or you didn't have Packet 3 in front of you?

I told them I had a case number and that my case is intransit and will be there before I do my medical cos I was going to book for later a appointment two weeks from the day I called them. She rod me no because they have been told by London consulate not to do medicals on those whs case number had not yet arrived at the consulate. Because people's medicals have been done in the past sent to the consulate and it has gone missing because the case was not yet there.

Packet 3 can be downloaded and posted as soon as the system says ready. I have them prepared just waiting for the ready to appear on the system so I will just post to the consulate and then book medical.

There's the problem according to the UK regulars. If you try again - and make no mention of the fact your case is in transit - you should be able to book it. Just give them the case number, don't mention that you don't have Packet 3 yet.

Ok I will call them tomorrow and try again. I am hoping the case will be in London i morrow but if not. I will still try book tomorrow. Thanks for the information.
