hi everyone congratulation on all the approvals for may filers. just some question after you get your mnl case # do you have to wait for the instruction on how to schedule your interview or you can call them right away after receiving the mnl case #. it really confuses me. i hope somebody can answer my question. thanks in advance!!!

Yay we got our NOA2 way faster than we expected! onto the next stage! Good luck everyone hope you hear something soon if you haven't already :)

Congrats. Since your going the same route as me keep in touch let me know if there's anything your not sure about. I already have my NVC number and have signed in to the CEAC website to track LND number. Have you got your police cert and immunization records to date? Also start filling out some of the forms. Get your fiance to get the i134 form and supporting docs sent. Congrats again.

Some people wait till they know their file has been forwarded to their consulates depends. I believe the Philippine forum a member called hank has great information about that stuff. Congrats on the approval.

Congratulations to all may filers that have been approved. I am still waiting NOA1 May 21,2013 CSC. I'm a little sad and getting impatient. All I can do is keep praying and hope that soon our's will be approved. How many times can we call USCIS to ask about our status? A friend told me we are only allowed to call once. Is this true?

I'm a single full time mum atm, so no. I have been raising my 3 kids alone for 6 yrs and it's done my head in. I want to work now. I'll be trying to get anything entry level. I love car mechanics (yes, dont laugh, I'm a chick with long nails, but love working under the car. Saves loads of money on car servicing), fixing small electronics and large appliances, so hoping I can get something.

Yep kids aren't cheap or easy to take care off so I can relate to your ATM analogy lol. As for mechanics good profession to go into in america everyone needs cars so finding work may not be too hard. Perhaps a aprentashipe in a garage or something. And you could always work for yourself just get your business card out set up a web page for yourself easy done. Start small initially till you can open your own place. Nothing is impossible determination and drive is a great motivator.

Well technically they will just say your still within the processing timeframe. I would only call after that timeframe has gone to really get something valuable information wise from them otherwise its like talking to a brick wall lol. Don't worry your approval will come soon stay positive.

Good advice. Maybe I can service cars for ladies (not trying to be discriminating), but alot of women get ripped off at the auto mech shop because they are women and dont know much about cars. Maybe having a lady work on their car, might put their minds at ease that they are only getting charged for the work done. I know a lady here in Australia that was getting charged $25 to get the car headlight fluid changed. oops8rh.gif
