Congratulations on to NVC now.

You tried calling yet? Or are they just going to give you the your still within the processing time line. Why have they not touched your file yet!!!

There were some rfes from my group that still have not been transfered or touched.

Don't worry you will get approved before march lol.

I just got off the phone with them and she gave the "within processing time" speech and said that it is unknown whether the remaining Mat petitions will stay at VSC or be transferred. A transfer will only delay in my opinion because many petitions dated after mine have already been transferred and they have received 3rd emails showing their petitions have made it to local center and are being worked on. I am afraid that if I get transferred I will get pushed behing the June and July transfers.

Our lawyer said it could be one letter, signed by both of us. Our NOA1 is May 8. I don't know the date my alien # changed... how would I find that out?

You could have checked online but since you have had the rfe the status would have changed. My noA1 is 7th may my alien reg is 13th may so since yours is 8 th may I would think it would be a diffrence of one day so probably 14th may.

If I am not mistaken it needs to be 2 letters, one from you and one from your fiance, but i could be wrong. What is the date of your NOA1? and the date your Alien # changed?

Oh dear, my heart sunk a little bit. I just re-read my lawyer's email and it did seem she was asking for separate statements. I just asked her if she would like individual statements. I would hate to delay this any longer because of my own stupidity and not reading her email correctly!! At least the letter we did include was signed by both of us, plus my witness for our marriage (which has obviously yet to happen) also wrote a letter on our behalf. We'll see what happens.

That doesn't sound fair. If they know they are no longer processing i129f petitions they should have transferred everyone at the same time. Plus how do they determine who to transfer from who not to transfer. Doesn't make sense.

USCIS is hardly ever fair. But when that happens that's the time to get your local Congressman and/or Senator involved.

  • 02/12/2014 Passports received by embassy

May 27, 2015..Request for EAD expedite

June 3, 2015 ..Faxed expedite proof....waiting response....fingers crossed

June 4, 2015, your request to have your case expedited, referral number xxxxxxxxx, was assigned to an officer for response.

June 18, 2015 EAD CARD APPROVED AWAITING DELIVERY!!!

June 24,2015 EAD/AP combo card picked up by USPS

June 25, 2015 EAD/AP card received

October 6, 2015 email stating greencards in production!!!

at least my anticipated date is moving up...lol Now it is: Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between September 11, 2013 and September 27, 2013*.

we be approved before month's end or early September. I have all the paperwork for the next step prepared for my fiance so that we will be ready for the next phase

Ooh. I'd best go check my own timeline as well. And I'm still holding on my prediction for month's end as well. But I need to sort my documents out now though either way, so time to get preparing just in case.
