In just over 24 hours my fiancee will be headed to his interview. We've gone over possible questions, we've organized, reorganized, and reorganized the documents again. He's ready! Tomorrow I work late and he goes to church at night so we are only going to have a few minutes to talk. I'm excited but have a feeling it's gonna be a couple of sleepless nights!

@BlackcaJun. That's not an issue as long as he is the dad ofcourse he will be fine with the DNA. Just keep your faith up that the DNA turns out right. @BamElis Goodluck to your Fiance on his interview.

its normal BlackcaJun, my neighbor experienced that too. She waited at least 2 months but not sure in your country how long it will take, that was 5 years ago. The visa was issued upon the release of results.

Can't sleep!!! Fiancée is leaving home to go to the embassy in less than three hours! He hasn't got to sleep yet either! He's gonna be tired! He and is went over a long list of questions at least 6 times, he showed me what he's wearing, we organized all of the documents AGAIN, and he counted the fee money!! I love him do much and can't wait to hear how if goes!!!

He's been there for about two hours now! The embassy doesn't allow phones so he had to leave it home!! I'm going crazy!! All night long I woke up every 15 to 25 minutes! It's now 5:30 my time (8:30 Rio de Janeiro) and I have been awake for an hour! I keep checking the department of state website!! Still says ready!! I need help!!!

Not approved but not denied. My joint sponsor (my brother) gave me tax info that was nearly impossible to read. They want the originals. I'm scared because even his originals were nearly impossible to read. He tax guy was terrible. They asked me to fed-ex them directly to the consulate. The interview went fine and they even had him pay the fee to have his passport courriered back to him. The guy said that if it was denied, they would have gave his passport back immediately. Now I jut hope I can get the info from my brother. I called him and he said. "#######< I don't know where that is".... UGH!!! He was so insistant on bgeting it back.If it weren't for the W2's, I'd see if his tax guy can give another copy.

WOW!! Posted in a panic from my phone this morning! They asked me to overnight the tax papers. I copied them and made them darker. I sent the originals as well as the darkened copies and they said that once they get them the visa should be issued within 2 days. My fiancee paid for teh overnight courier service. They let him pay all fees so it should be ok. I just freaked out because I wanted instant approval. I'm still probably gonna have my man in time for christmas. He did say that the interview was crazy and that they asked questions he didn't expect but he had no trouble answering them. They told him he needed to explain how such a long distance relationship woould work and they really questioned it but his answer was acceptable. There is no reason why the visa should be denied. I sent the documents they asked for via FedEx early this afternoon and was told tehy would be delivered Monday. I know tomorrow is a hoiiday but the embassy is open on friday. According to FedEx, they will het it on Friday. Our Status changed to Administrative Processing before my fiancee ever had achance to call. Hopefully it changes again on either Friday or Monday. I feel so much better that earlier!

@Bamellis, Congratulations to you guys. I think they just want to see the documents and confirmed it OK. Asking him to pay the over night courier service is a good sign. Let us know when he gets the visa.

Thank you!! That's what we are thinking (praying) too!! They should get the papers anytime! FedEx says on vehicle for delivery but it's 2:00 there so in not sure if they will get to ya today! I really hope so! We want to book that flight!!
