been here in the US for over a week now and i still am adjusting to the new timezone, weather here in SD is nice and my fiance has been very supportive of me and he's always making sure i feel at home. was able to print I-94 too and will file SSN next week. things has been doing very well, God is really good. hope everyone here is almost with their significant others especially now that holidays are coming. trully thanksgiving is a celebration especially for us this year coz there's a lot to be thankful for.

Woo hoo.. Congrats on the last thing you have to do before POE. So happy for you.

I'm waiting by the mailbox for documents from my fiance. I was hoping they would arrive today, but hopefully tomorrow. My hopes of getting to USA before christmas is looking slim. My eldest son graduates primary school on 15th Dec and then we are free to leave. Sydney embassy are quite fast for packet 4 and interview dates, but then waiting for visa and packing up the house and selling car etc isn't going to be easy. I haven't given up yet, I've come this far, it will be worth it when the day comes smile.png

I'm getting rather unhappy atm trying to keep my head high. My fiance sent I-134 and supporting docs to me on the 8th Nov and today being the 21st, still haven't arrived yet. I'm ready on my end to open the package, grab out the needed forms and send packet 3 express to embassy the same day. The embassy here only do interviews on Tuesday, so I'm hoping on 10th Dec also, so I can get my visa in time to be with my faince before christmas, but haven't book flights yet due to waiting for final approval and prices are rising for Christmas.. By the time I get to USA (approval based) this journey will be near $9,000 AUD, and yet the most precious thing to me, seems still so far away.

I just wanna be with my Honey Bear.. cray5ol.gif Sorry about my whining..

Dont be! i understand what you feel!we always have some bumps along this process which is sometimes frustrate us.take a deep breath and remember the day the two of you will be together!(my f always remind me of that!lol).yeah the prices are getting higher, we have to book my ticket a few days back.

ive been having this feeling of missing him more and more as the days get closer. so your not alone!and we will make it Ozgirl!lets try to be positive..it will come!

Just got my interview date - 10th December.

Congratulations, Wheatley!

We received out interview date last week, and were heart broken to find out we were going to have to wait until January 23rd, 2014. Then, our lawyer emailed us to let us know she found us an earlier interview date for January 14th, so my fiancé and I felt hopeful! Then, just tonight I checked the CSC Visa Information Service website, and an interview date of January 2nd became available… I really cannot believe our good fortune.

To all the VJers waiting for something -- whether it be their NOA2, transfer to the NVC, or even the file being sent to the embassy… keep the faith! I went through every emotion waiting for each stage of this process. Frustration definitely dominated… but good things will come, you just have to keep the faith!

interview Monday morning....Ade and I are practicing possible questions....double checking documents....I only mailed him the forms from the checklist as the embassy said they have a copy of the original package I sent. Hopefully all goes well.

been here in the US for over a week now and i still am adjusting to the new timezone, weather here in SD is nice and my fiance has been very supportive of me and he's always making sure i feel at home. was able to print I-94 too and will file SSN next week. things has been doing very well, God is really good. hope everyone here is almost with their significant others especially now that holidays are coming. trully thanksgiving is a celebration especially for us this year coz there's a lot to be thankful for.

Congrats on your arrival...what is the I-94 and why is it needed? Does everyone immigrating to the US need it?
