Yes your flight is very expensive. I really should be great flu for my 650 lol. When do you plan to fly out?

Just saw you said December 26 that's the same day I plan to go Boxing Day. Who are you flying with?

I am going with Etihad airways. It was one of the cheaper flights. Only downside was that it is a longggg trip. Around 33 hours include a 3-4 hour stopover lol but i am willing to pay less even if i have to sit on a plane for ages. It goes to Dubai then to New York. My fiance is picking me from New York as he lives in Connecticut and then will drive there. That saves around $500 instead of going to his local airport! Which airline are you using? I have to also take my wedding dress with me!

I am sure that in Jan flights will be cheaper. Do you have any particular airline in mind? Some of the cheaper airlines are usually united airlines. I am going with Etihad airways. It was cheaper than Qantas and i've booked for boxing day.

Yeah.. save every dollar you can.

And yes, flights are about $1150 per adult around the 13th of Jan. Alot of those flights thou are 40hr+ And I really dont want to stay in fiji with 3 kids for 12hr layover LOL. I'm going to head to travel agent once I get visa and see what they can offer. I dont really mind which airline. I have flown United before and it wasn't the best flight. I'd be looking for something that has in seat entertainment for my kids thou. Virgin A wouldn't be bad.

I have to either go with delta or united airline cos they are coming up cheaper. There should also be less people flying that day since it's Boxing Day.

Sky scanner is a good place to look for tickets. Ozgirl check that sight out before purchasing yours. They are a lot cheaper than buying direct from the airline.

Your right Ozgirl my experience with United was the same as yours no entertainment for kids. They had a big screen tv in front instead of individual screens.

Delta was good and have flown many times with them and also American airline.

With my trips to see my fiancee and other flights I've been using Delta. They told me I can use my skymiles for his flight! It's gonna cost $53. Of course, I've paid between $1100 and $1300 for flights to and from Rio as well as a couple of flights here in the USA. After the visa, medical, and all that fun stuff we are trying to save up because we know we also have another hefty fee with the AOS and wedding! :-)I'm sure some more flights to Rio will be on the calendar once we get the AOS so he can see family so it will be time to start saving miles again! :-)

We did out I-160 last night! Stayed up til 4 AM working on it and I'm working 3 hours later! YIKES!! Gonna be a long day! It feels good to have it done. Since we don't get a packet 3, my fiancee should be getting his interview date any day now!! He's going to get his police certificates today and he's calling one of the doctors listed to ask questions since he can only find proof of one vaccination and it was just for the flu. Unless the paperwork comes, he won't actually book the medical though. :-) Still exciting!

2/14/2014 (day18) biometric appt letter arrived in the mail. Appt schedualled for 2/26/2014 11.00am.

2/18/2014 (day 22) biometrics successful walkin.

4/01/2014 faxed expedite supporting documents to number on letter sent to me. Waiting waiting waiting

4/03/2014 (68 days) EAD and AP approved text message sent status post decision. Hooray !!!

4/7/2014 (72 days ) status change to card in production for EAD.

4/10/2014 ( 75 days) status changed after calling uscis regarding urgency of EAD. Also usps tracking number at 20.580pm

Wow you be there very soon then. I have decided to go in november now instead of december tickets seem much cheaper nov end around 27 is the date I am now on the search for a ticket for. Waz going to spend christmas with my family here but it will cost too much waiting till december.
