I did some tiresome work on the USCIS site by changing the last 3 digits and there are a number of May filers who have been given RFEs between May 8th and May 16th. I think 3 or 4.

More May filers are still listed as under initial review but not needing more evidence. Hope that helps.

It's July guys! The praryerful part about it all is the hopes that they will speed it up just a tad so we can have our fiances here for the Holidays!

I did the same thing and found and found a few May RFE'S sent out on the 23rd of June. At least they are working on May petitions. I am praying that I am able to get married before the year is out and that my baby is here for the holidays.

The USCIS will often send out an RFE on the first run-through of the case if there is something amiss, like missing paperwork, or missing signatures. This is not uncommon within the first month of applying, and it does not mean they're approving the petition, it simply means that someone didn't fill the paperwork out fully, and they can't continue putting it in the system until they do.

Also occasionally people will expedite their K1 (Military personnel, Medical emergencies, etc) and those cases will often be processed in less than 3 months -- you only filed in May, and while the waiting sucks I wouldn't expect to hear much until 5 months out. Right now I'm seeing January and February filers getting approved, as well as a couple early March filers, depending on the service center.

You can see when your case was last touched, if you go to the USCIS website, check your case status and "sign up for an account". When you log in you'll see an "updated" date, which is the last time someone touched your file -- this will mean that an immigration officer was actually looking at your petition.

The last update doesn't show when a CO is looking at your case. It shows the last time a milestone event occured, such as A# was assigned or RFE sent, or approval.

The best thing I am taking away from seeing others in my early May group receiving RFE and I haven't is that I submitted enough information to not warrant anything, therefore there won't be any delays.

As long as I have a competent CO I'm expecting to be approved in under 5 months.

Also to add to the "last update" date you'll sometimes get an email (if you're signed up) and there will be no milestone activity -- this means there was case activity that may not have lead to anything, but it's a good indicator that someone's poking around in your case, and MIGHT indicate a decision is following shortly thereafter (or an RFE), if you didn't make any actions to prompt the activity.

What numbers are you looking at cos I tried typing numbers after mine and no activities. I was ytpeing from 5740 numbers before that aren't i-129f and so from 5740 all the way to 5747 nothing and numbers after aren 129f application so I quit. I didn't see no rfes. Sure glad you guys are seeing some files been touched.

I did 6043 as the last 4 digits. i went form my number to about 40 before and 40 after to check for other I-129F. In my group of numbers it's about 10 fiance petitions and we all are in the same stage.
