Is DS-261 required? I can't access DS-261. Everytime I try, I just end up in DS-260 which I already completed.

Is DS-156, 156k and 157 required in Manila US Embassy? Everytime I follow the link, it does not lead me to the forms. It just leads to a page where forms can be downloaded but none of those forms are 156 and 156k.

The Awesome One got the NVC letter yesterday so given they tend to take a while to send that one out I'm firmly of the belief we've hit London, it's now just a waiting game for Packet 3. Given the issues with the passport (and the fact that I'm probably just going to end up sending it via Check and Send at the Post Office instead) plus London dragging their feet I don't reckon I'll be there for Christmas. Maybe early January.

"What's yours is mine!"

Thanks for wishing me luck with the interview. Honestly I been so nervous for the last couple of days as the time is getting closer. Had a terrible headache today. I thought it was cos of the diet I am doing so decided to go eat a little more food. Well that didn't get rid of the headache. So I can only put the headache down to the whole interview thing on Tuesday. Honestly who would have thought your whole life hangs in the hands of one individual who is going to interview you. do I need to send my fiance a photocopy of my last tax return..? and what is a tax transcript? thanks

Yes you do need to send your fiancée your last tax transcript. A tax transcript is the end of year paper you get from your employer showing how much you earn and how much tax has been deducted from your salary for that year. Hopefully you have one.

Hey Nurselling,

Your headache could be thru worry and stress. Easy for me to say not having interveiw yet, but you'll be fine. Try not to worry. Keep us updated please.

Just try to remember that they have most likely already made up their minds as to if you are approved or not by the time you get there. Just have all your documents ready should they ask for them.

I did get a letter from a doctor. Never seen her before, but she wrote a brief history and has pretty much said, that speaking to me, she doesn't believe that I am any risk to myself or others.

My medical is scheduled for tomorrow. 7hrs of driving to get there. So it's going to be a big day. I'm nervous also, but should be fine.

Good luck to both of you! I think that the anxiety is normal. My fiancee has been feeling pretty nervous. He keeps going over the possible interview questions. He keeps asking what he needs for the interview, what he needs for the medical, and we haven't even got the packet in the mail yet. I am being told that Rio is taking until December which I am still hoping is wrong but I was told we'd get our interview date if we call this week. Until then we are praying for sooner than later! I just want im to get on that plane and come be with me. Relax, I am sure you are gonna do great! Lots of luck! I can't wait to hear how it goes!

Your fiance will do fine too.. What we are all feeling is just part and parcel of the whole process. I'm sure that once medical and interviews are over with, we will be saying "What were we worried about?" LOL.

Wishing your fiance the best of luck. He will be fine. I think alot of the anxiety that comes along with this all, is the fact that we are getting so close to being with our loved ones.

Good luck and keep us informed..

Yes thats right! No need to fill-up various forms, just the DS-160

Yes you do need to send your fiancée your last tax transcript. A tax transcript is the end of year paper you get from your employer showing how much you earn and how much tax has been deducted from your salary for that year. Hopefully you have one.
