we just called USCIS customer service and talked to a tier 2.she said ours was sent already last Oct 05 but i dont know why until now we dont get our case number..now im doubting if they are really telling the truth.we will try this week to call them everyday.soooo frustrated!!!

btw, we saw a NOA2 sept05 that just got their case number yesterday..so start calling guys and update your timeline..

We have the same noa2 date... i hope our file was send together with your file... =)

But what i already read people form csc got there case number if your noa2 is august 28...

Sorry to hear about your mum I hope she is recovering well now.

Fantastic news your going to adopt that's great. Hope it won't take too long for you and your baby to be together once the adoption papers are sorted out.

Glad to see things are moving along for you. My interview is next week Tuesday 22nd October. Let us know when your schedualled to go for yours.

I think you are referring to the alien number change. But no, that means that are yet to have an approval from USCIS. They dont have NOA2 yet.

And since you are EAC your file went to Vermont which means by the way things are going now, you should get your case number relatively quickly. Unlike me and alot of CSC filers who are waiting 40+ days. You should get your case number within 2 weeks once your USCIS approval (NOA2) comes thru

Have you try to call the Embassy for your case number? Somewhere in the thread that from Philippines, they are waiting for case number from NVC but when they tried to call the Embassy here, they got it! So I am not sure if this is also applicable in your country but there is no harm in trying.

You know until now we havent received the hard copy of our NOA2 and letter from NVC so what I did is I emailed the NVC last October 1 to ask for my case number and also to locate our file. I just received email today informing the details I asked.

Dont worry, just fill up the DS-160 that is what you needed on your interview.

Example in my case I called NVC gave them my EAC number and they pulled up my LND number and gave it to me. Because my son is an American citizen born he didn't need anything. My daughter however needed a id number since she was born in the UK. This is a 8 digit number ours began with a 356***** . You will need one for each one of your children. My daughter will need that number when she finally goes and does her medical next may in preparation for her interview to come join me in the summer. Please don't forget to ask them when you call them again for this number for your children when they are giving you your case number.

Yes i'll call them by friday... i'll give you an update if there is a new one... but are the from the same service center as ours coz we are from california... other service center are fast in sending the noa2 to nvc... but not california... =(

yes.they both are from CSC,you can check it to through the timelines of the member..im monitoring it now just to figure out and know whats going on the process from nvc..i will..keep in touch!
